(4) Second death

"Excuse me," Jake said to Katrina.

"Yes... Wait you're a white elf, what are you doing here?"

The young female elf was as beautiful as her mother. She was her mother but younger.

"The King has been searching for you... He would like to see you immediately,"

"Well it's quite hard for my brother to see the King right now... but I'll find a way,"

She then looked at me intensely as if she felt sorry for me and then said:

"I'm really sorry!"

When Luther saw a white elf talking to his sister, he walked towards them with a furious expression.

"Get away from my sister you impure!

Luther then pushed Jake to the ground and gave him a little smirk.

" He didn't hurt you I hope, that impure!"

" No don't worry, he was just informing me that father is looking for us,"

Luther then frowned hearing what his sister said.

"Does he have nothing special to do rather than sending some white elf to search for us! Let's see what he has to say this time!"

Luther grabbed Katrina by the hand and dragged her away from Jake. When Luther passed next to Jake, he whispered:

"I can't wait to see your race exterminated..."

For some people, they would think the green elves are very cruel, but it's just a case of assuring their dominance on top.

Of course, the grey elves remain the strongest, but they are neutral elves, they only defend themselves, they never attack.

Now that he completed his mission, he hurried calmly to his horse and left the palace. Once he was out of the palace, he accelerated Pegasus' pace.

On his horse, as he was walking through the small houses of the Kingsom and the plantations, he pressed his chest.

"Hey system, what are the conditions to declare a war between elves?"

[As long as the green elf isn't in an alliance, the elves can declare war against another race of elves.

After you declare war, there must be a ceremony of 7 days before the battle. It will be considered the last ceremony for a long time.]

In about 3 hours, Jake managed to leave the Kingdom, and was now rushing at full speed to inform Estoria of the King's intentions.

Pegasus was going so fast that Jake's hair was blowing backwards. Suddenly, Jake heard a blast from behind him. When he checked, he saw a green beam coming straight towards him.

Before Jake could even react, the beam hit the horse exploding right in his face. The explosion propelled him away far into the woods and away from the path.

When he crashed on the ground, he was now at 5 hp. His left arm and his foot were cut of, and blood was dripping from his arm and foot.

"Apparently, you can feel pain in this world as well, but why am I not screaming? It's like I've already felt this pain multiple times..."

As he was looking sideways without no expression whatsoever, a notification reappeared.

[Do you wish to use your body regen potion?]

Jake clicked the yes Icon an the potion appeared right next to him. However, Jake was too injured to move. He just looked at the potion without moving at all as his health was slowly going down.

'So I'm gonna die again? I think it's the end once again here...'

Jake's eyes slowly got heavier as he started to close his eyes until his eyes were completely shut.

{2 weeks later}

'This sensation, its like when I first woke up with my new body...'

When Jake opened his eyes once again, he was in a house. He could see the roof, and when he looked sideways, he saw a door, and a wardrobe.

"What's going on!" Jake tried to stand up once again, but he couldn't.

[Would you like to claim this body?

Rejection will result in instant death]

'What is the meaning of this!? Does this mean I died again!?'

Before thinking of anything else, he first accepted to have full control of his body.

'What is going on? I feel weaker than before...' Jake said sitting down on the bed.

He looked around the room and saw a mirror on the wardrobe. He rushed to the mirror to see his face once again. When he looked in the mirror, he was surprised to see his face.

"It's me! I'm back to my normal body!"

Before he entered RPG Online, he was first a skinny boy, with blonde hair and blue eyes. The only difference now, is that he now had pointy ears.

'Thank goodness I'm still a white elf, those green elves are... The war declaration!!!'

Jake immediately rushed out of his room, to find people organizing festivities.

'What's going on, is this some kind of independence day or something?'

He saw one of the workers walking by with wooden planks and chose to ask what was happening.

"Hei Zelda," Jason said to the elf.

"Hei Zelda," the elf replied.

This was a way of greeting amongst the elves. Zelda was the one who saved the 4 Elf Kingdoms from the terror of Gannon, now they consider Zelda as a hero and even changed greeting to his name to never forget him.

"Could you tell this confused elf what is going on at the moment?"

"We are organizing the seven days festivity, if you wanna help us, just sign at the national monument!"

After talking, the elf left transporting his wooden planks.

'Seven days festivity, that means the Faerûn Kingdom really has declared war against Estoria..."

Jake wondered what happened to Grayson, his old body. He never had the chance to find out about his sister or even to level up.

He pressed his chest to learn about his new body's personality.

"System, tell me about my body's personality," Jake said.

[Rohan Lief, a young elf of 230 years old. He is the best friend of Lisanna Hodergard, and he has a dream, becoming part of a recognized guild, however there is just one problem, he is the weakest white elf in the Kingdom]
