Meanwhile, Rosalind closed her eyes just as she finished absorbing what she needed to absorb. Her body felt refreshed, almost as if she had just woken up from a very nice beautiful dream. She took a deep breath before she opened her eyes and stared at the handsome man before her.
"Better?" he asked.
"Way better," Rosalind smiled and held his hand.
"Here…," he handed her a short sword.
"This is?"
"Made from the black liquid," Lucas uttered. "Perhaps, it would come in useful one day."
Rosalind accepted it without hesitation. "Is there any other way to use the black liquid?"
He shook his head as they started walking inside the temple while avoiding the skeletons and some debris that had fallen from the ceiling. "These are the source of the demon's ability. With it, the demons are stronger. It is both a strength and a weakness. Aside from that, they are simply an inconvenience."
