The Struggle Within
They were both in the hotel room. She was sitting on the bed thinking, and he was in the bathroom taking a shower. She sighed knowing why those men were there at his hut.
"I guess I better explain what's going on with those men that were at his hut," she said to herself
"Yes you better do that" she heard at the side of her. She looked over and saw him leaning against the door frame of the bathroom smiling under his white mask. Wearing only a towel around his waist.
She blushed furiously under her mask and looked away from him. "U-um how about you get some clothes on then I'll talk"
He nods "Fair enough, hold on," he goes back into the bathroom shutting the door and she sighed laying down on the bed covering her eyes with her arm.
As she waited for him to get dressed she laid on the bed trying to calm down her racing heart. The fight with the men replaying in her mind. She stood up and let her wings out seeing they were both covered in blood from when she flew up after being tackled by all those men. "Man I can't clean them on my own I can't reach it all and I took a shower this morning," she said to herself "And I certainly can't ask him for help with that I just met him"
"It's not bad if you ask me to help you clean your wings" She turned around surprised and sighed "Stop doing that Blake" he chuckles deeply "But it's too much fun" she rolled her eyes glaring at him then sighs "Blake will you help me clean my wings? They're bloody from the fight" he grinned under his mask looking at her "Only if you help me clean mine" he held out his hand and she took it shaking it.
She turned around letting him use a wet rag, he got from the kitchen, and clean her wings. She was still blushing under her mask as he cleaned her wings. "So tell me something about yourself Kiken" she shrugs "What do you want to know?" he chuckled "Well why those men are after you for one" she sighs "I knew you were gonna say that. Well, it started the day I was born. My parents were killed by vampires protecting me. I'm not quite sure why they didn't kill me as well but" she shrugs "Anyway after that I was found by FBI and they saw I wasn't human and they took me with them for testing. They had me locked up for over 100 years eventually my buddy, Vinny, helped me escape." She put her wings away and turned around looking at his back and wings cleaning his with the rag. "After that, I became a demon huntress, learned how to use swords and other weapons, and learned some magic as well." She finished with his wings making the rag vanish. "Now to why they are looking for me now." She sat down on the bed. Blake looking at her with worried eyes sitting down next to her, making his wings go into his body as well.
"I guess you could say after all these years they want to start up research on well our kind again that's why they're looking for me. They don't know about you and well" she shrugs "That's why they're going after me and not you" she looks at him with sincere but hurt filled eyes "You don't have to help me with this if you don't want to"
He laughed huskily "Are you kidding me? I haven't had any action in I don't know how long. I would love to help you Kiken and we both know that." she rather enjoyed his laugh it made her heart skip a beat but she pushed dirty thoughts in the back of her head shaking her head. "Well let's see" she started "I wear this mask because it's kind of a family thing, why do you wear yours?"
He blushes slightly under his mask rubbing the back of his neck and shrugs. "It's just something I grew up around I guess" She holds back a chuckle and there's a knock at the door. She gets up and goes to open the door. He had heard her gasp and he got up going to the door once he saw who was at the door his eyes blazed with fury, but stayed hidden. "H-How did you find me?" she managed to stutter out. The man in the suit walked in making her walk back "Oh I have my ways Kiken remember me? From when you were in the lab oh so long ago?" the man in the suit said eyeing her with lust. "Back off Darren" her back eventually hitting the wall. Darren slamming his hands at the sides of her head pinning her "I don't think I will baby doll" Blake growled at the scene still watching waiting for a perfect time to strike, but without having to bring out his dark side.
This whole time Kiken has been seeing Blake's white side, or angelic side, but when he gets really pissed off his dark side will come out, and that's the side that has taken control for the longest amount of time. Kiken, on the other hand, is the opposite her angelic side is the dominant side when her dark side only comes out when she's in complete danger, or when she goes into a rage.
Anyway, Darren leaned in closer to Kiken whispering into her ear "You know you miss me, and the lab, baby doll why don't you come back and I can treat you to a nice meal" she growled punching him in the gut yelling "YOU KNOW DAMN WELL I WILL NEVER DO THAT I FREAKING HATED THAT PLACE" She eventually calmed down, but by then Darren had her by the throat and she was gasping for breath. "I was trying to be nice baby doll, but I guess you still like to play hardball. That's fine and all but it gets tiring"
Blake was just about to strike when he noticed Kiken's visible eye open and go void black, so he stayed there wondering what was going on with her. Kiken's wings came out, but instead of one black and one white, they were both pure black. She managed to kick Darren right in the groin and he fell over in pain. She fell to the ground, and it was her turn to grab Darren by the throat and throw him out "Darren I've gotten much stronger since our last encounter so keep in mind I will kick your ass easily" her voice was demonic as she spoke. She closed the door walking up to Blake, and said still in a demonic voice "And you keep in mind that my other half may like you, but I don't" Blake just nodded and Kiken smiled "Good" then she returned back to normal collapsing, passed out, into Blake's arms.
