"Its Just One Of The Palace Dogs, Love"

Queen Jennie stared at me and Alyssa. I took Alyssa's hand and we went to her chamber. She was just staring at the whole palace, like she had never seen it. She once did a marathon when she was little, by running around the palace for an hour.

We got into the bathroom, and for the first time in six years, she was treated like a real Princess, that she was. Maids bath her with the best soaps, in the coolest water at the coolest temperature.

She smiled all through the way, as she was dressed in robes, rubbed with different essential oils, and finally wore a red gown with red roses decorated all over. I wore the same, and our hair had rose hair clips attached.

We got back to the balcony, and Queen Ahyeon was in tattered dress, crying on the ground.

"I want the judgement over to my dear daughters, who suffered poorly under her, instead of living the Princess life i birth them to live." Queen Jennie pointed to us, and we stared at Ahyeon with so much hatred.

"Ahyeon, you have done the wrong thing, to the wrong person. And we are gonna get you punished rightfully. I say she should be stoned to death." Alyssa pushed her down the balcony with so much rage and before any stone could be thrown on her, she was long gone.

The people cheered happily, and in the evening, they were invited by Queen Jennie to have a sumptuous meal. That day was the best day of my life.

King Damien was also there. He put on the most cheerful smile, and as always, good at entertaining guests, with dancers, and children with jesters, who he would pay very good money.

After the event, maids were busy with the plates, and Alyssa offered to help.

Barf!

She still couldn't get over the fact she wasn't a maid anymore.

I went to Queen Jennie's chambers, and she was busy discussing with her maids.

Queen Jennie was an owl. In the day, she always felt a bit down, dull and bored, sometimes take naps, but at night, she's super active.

"Your Highness." I bowed and she smiled.

"Oh, daughter. You're here." She said and i sat on a cushion. It was a cushion that once i sat down, every maid left the chamber. It meant i needed to talk to my mum - in private.

"So? What do you have for me, Ring - a- ring - o' Roses?" I smiled at that name. I had really missed it.

"Mum, am sure you remember that i went to Racalyn. I didn't go for The Legal Wife. I went there for some investigation. I wanted to know who Queen Ahyeon truly was, and all about myself. Mum, i think am in the dark. People in Racalyn were calling me a traitor, i think i have some connection with Queen Leah, and sometimes i think....i think i just need to know more about Racalyn than our kingdom. I saw books written by you in one of the palace chambers. You wrote TRAITOR, and some historical books. Do you know any milkmaid that goes by the name Sapphira?" I asked Mum, and she sniffed. It looked like she was fighting back tears.

"Is there something you're hiding?" I asked again.

"Am glad you want to know some history, Rose. But am not happy its about some other kingdom! How is that gonna help you?" She scolded.

"What problem do we have in Racalyn? There are so many May people there! Why is it only me they refer to as a traitor? And what's this tattoo all about? I have never seen it!" I pulled my dress and as she saw the lightning bolt, she looked horrified. Her eyes turned red and flashy. She couldn't breathe properly. She wasn't breathing, she was more like trying to breathe. I held her hands and jolted.They were super hot.

"Help! Someone come in!" Jyoti and one other maid, Petra entered. They immediately brought some herbs for high temperature. She kept on breathing like that, and her temperature only got hotter. The maids mixed more and more herbs, and soon she got up.

"I have somewhere to be." She said and rushed out of the chambers.

"Stay here, I'll bring her back." I promised the maids and ran after Queen Jennie. She looked behind her and screamed on seeing me. She increased the speed.

Did she think i was chasing her?

We ran for hours! In the markets, stalls, all around valleys, hills....

We soon entered a forest, and it was really dark. As i sat down and pulled my dress, i was shocked to see the lightning bolt on my lap produce a yellow light.

"Queen Jennie? Queen Jennie?" I stood up and started looking everywhere for her. The light surprised me, but gave me more clues to understand myself.

I must be magical.

As i ran, i stopped in my tracks and dropped my dress. Prince Ethan was standing right in front of me with a little lamp.

"What are you doing in May?" That was the first question i asked him. He looked perplexed to see me. That was when i realized, we had ran into Racalyn. I pretended to have that 'scaredy cat' face.

"Okay! Okay! Am not gonna kill you, okay? I know you mistakenly came here. I didn't mean those things i said about - " He looked apologetic, and i didn't wanna waste any more time than executing my plan.

Charming The Handsome Prince!

I leaned in, and kissed him softly. As we stood close, i felt a bright light surrounding the both of us. This, am gonna consider, my first kiss.

It was magical, sensational, everything else i could mention. We stood there for a minute or two, before i pulled away shyly.

"Am sorry for doing that. I was...." I looked up to see his expression. He was falling for everything!

Revenge Game Apart, i actually had a taste of my well craved vanilla, since my dream date. It was special, and i felt like having more.

"Anyway. I'll leave now. I was hunting."

"HUNTING? YOU MEAN THERE ARE ANIMALS HERE??" I was horrified.

"Yeah. Lots of animals. That look a lot like you." He rolled his eyes and i gazed around the forest.

"Am brave anyway." I put on a straight face, as i took a step, i heard a bark and climbed on to his back. He looked behind and smirked.

"Its just one of the palace dogs, love." He said and i had my mouth agape.

"Love?"

"Yeah. My Legal Wife. Its not too late, Rose. Will you get back to TLW again?
