Two days later, Hades still hasn't woken up. Gabriella walked out of his room with a sad face.
"How is he doing?" Eva asked as she met her in the hallway.
Gabriella shook her head, staring at the door. "His body is healthy. I can't find any ailment in his body. But, he doesn't seem to wake up, as if something deeper inside him is damaged."
Eva clenched her fist, "Do you remember that he broke the jailer's daggers and clothes? That wasn't an ability he had before."
"Abilities are connected to the soul. We forced him to draw on a strength he had long since lost." Gabriella can't take it anymore. Even with her being the most skillful healer in the city, she can't do anything to help Hades.
Eva approached Gabriella, grabbing her hands, "He will wake up. There is no doubt about it. Just give him some time." Gabriella had told them before that Hades is a former valkyrie, that his injuries are far worse than flesh wounds, and that he had lost most of his former power.
"Let's go to the city. I want to buy some things." Gabriella sugguested. She didn't need anything; she only wanted something to take her mind off the current situation.
"Do you need anything specific?" Eva asked, staring at her face.
Gabriella glared at her, "My sword got damaged against the jailer. I also would like better armor."
The two of them walked down the hallway silently. When the maids passed by them, they could sense the gloomy air around them.
"My lady, is there anything we could help you with?" one of the maids asked, looking at Gabriella.
Gabriella shook her head, "No, nothing you can help with." she replied with a deep sigh, ignoring the maid as she walked away.
Soon, the two reached the mansion door. BAN! The door got kicked open just before they could touch it.
CLANG! CLANG! CLANG! from it, a woman who looked in her mid-thirties with blond hair walked in, donned in heavy plate armor. A shield strapped to her left hand and a mace to her right waist.
"Gabriella, smile." The woman said with a big grin.
"Sister, do you think I have time for that?" Gabriella replied, and then almost immediately. SLAP! The woman slapped Gabriella to the ground.
"Wake up from your delusion. Worrying about it will solve nothing!" The woman shouted at the top of her lungs.
Eva snapped, rushing to check on Gabriella. Looking at the woman, "What do you think you're doing?"
The woman shook her head, "Giving her what she needs." She approached Gabriella and pushed Eva away, "Wating and being gloomy will solve nothing. It only makes things worse." Lifting Gabriella by the shoulder, "When your comrade gets killed in the war, you ignore them and focus on winning. Because who is going to carry their corpse back home if you died, if you lost the war?"
"Sister! You don't know anything," Gabriella shouted, attempting to push her sister away but failing miserably.
"I know more than you, so listen, little girl. If you want him to wake up, then learn something to wake him up. Don't wait for it to happen because it won't." She started dragging Gabriella out of the mansion.
"Guards, grab her!" Eva shouted.
Three guards surrounded Gabriella and her sister, "Commander Alexandra, please let go of lady Gabriella immediately."
Alexandra glared at them, "Get out of my way, kids."
"Sorry, we can't do that." They replied, drawing their swords.
Alexandra sighed, "Fine, but you wanted it." She approached one of them, dragging Gabriella by the hand.
CLANG! Without hesitation, she grabbed the soldier's sword with her hand. Even though she was wearing a gauntlet, such action is dangerous.
"What?" He gasped, BANG! She headbutted him in the nose, dropping him immediately.
The other two soldiers rushed at her. One leaped at her back, attempting to drop her down. "Leaping at my back like this, you're brave." Alexandra smiled, grabbing the man by the crotch. It didn't matter that he was wearing chain mail and leather armor underneath. She was able to squash his jewels enough to make him scream.
She smiled, "Limp, you're a lucky one. I would have torn them apart if I found you stiffer." While grabbing him by the crotch, she flipped him with one hand, throwing him to the ground with a bang.
The last soldier hesitated to face her. That insane strength just now; she isn't normal. He slowly backed away, watching her approach the door. The moment he got in her blind spot, he leaped at her legs. Dropping her to the ground was the only way to restrain her.
As he hugged her knees, Alexandra sat down and grabbed his head between her thighs. The steel of her armor dug into his neck. "One of you leaping at my back and one at my legs. Do you not have other women here?" She started laughing.
"Sister, you're suffocating him!" Gabriella cried, and Eva rushed to try and pull Alexandra's legs apart.
"Let him suffocate. Isn't this what he wanted, right?" She smiled, and the moment the soldiers lost consciousness, she let him.
"Is he dead?" Eva cried, seeing the man's neck full of blue scars.
Alexandra looked at her, "You look soft as hell," She grabbed Eva's arm.
"What?" Eva tried to leap away, but Alexandra's grip had unordinary strength.
"I will hammer both of you into shape," She started dragging the both of them outside.
"Hey you, stop right!" Cael stood in Alexandra's way. Just a glance revealed that Alexandra knocked out over twenty guards as she entered the mansion.
He didn't know who she was; he knew the name Alexandra Gamorian, but he never saw her in person.
She ignored him and kept moving, "I told you. Stop right there, criminal scum. Breaking into a noble's house is punished by death." He swung his blade at her.
Alexandra lifted her foot, deflecting his sword. "What?" As he gasped, BAM! She kicked him in the face. Thud! As his body fell to the ground, she stomped his face. Thwack! Thwack! Thwack!
"Aren't you the captain of the guards? Calling your superior a criminal scum, do you want to be sent to oblivion?" She glared down at him, her eyes glowing golden.
Cael growled, [Slash] without hesitation; he sent a slash at her neck. CLANG! Alexandra shifted her head, and the invisible attack scratched her cheek.
Alexandra smiled, "You, I like your kind. You have blood on your hands. Stand up; you're coming with me too." She lifted her foot, and Cael immediately stood up, [Slash]
"She's the lord's daughter!" Eva screamed at the last moment, but it was too late. Cael's [Slash] was nearing Alexandra's neck.
CLANG! In one swift move. She pulled the mace she kept on her waist and broke the attack. Her speed with the heavy weapon was inhuman, swinging it like a stick.
Alexandra smiled, letting go of Eva and Gabriella, [Strength] BAM! She disappeared from her spot with a blast, leaving holes in the ground where her feet stood.
Thwack! Cael's body flew outside as of being smacked by a wild monster, a massive dent in his chest plate.
Alexandra Gamorian, Gabriella's big sister and her polar opposite. One focused on saving lives, while the other on taking them.
