Renzor took a deep breath, inhaling the comforting scents of home—the earthy aroma of the forest outside, the sweet fragrance of Aya's perfume, and the delicious smell of the soup on the table. He held his family close, the reality of the moment sinking in. It felt surreal, almost too perfect, and he couldn't shake the lingering unease that something was off. But for now, he decided to let himself be swept away in the warmth and love that surrounded him.

As the children got up from Renzor, he stared at them in awe of how mature they had become. "My boys and girls, I'm so happy to see you," he said. "But... but the war... Wasn't I just..." He trailed off, his memories a muddled jumble.

"Honey, are you sure you're alright?" Aya asked.

Renzor sighed and sat on the bed. "The war between humans and the other races... The fight that almost annihilated the entire human race and enslaved the rest. I am in a trial right now."
