Ezra walked to the girl on the ground, he saw that she had passed out, and he began to wonder how he would make her his servant.

[The half Demon is at death's door; she needs your energy to survive]

[Do you want to activate the shadow contract?]

"Shadow contract? What the hell is that?" Ezra asked.

[A contract formed between master and servant, eternally making them your own; they will follow you forever like a shadow.]

"But doesn't she need to accept before it can work? She is unconscious," Ezra said.

[Her subconscious agreement will do.]

"In that case, do it." Ezra agreed to do it; it was a win-win. He would complete the mission, and she would be saved. He had originally thought of buying a potion to save her, but he preferred to follow the instructions of the system.

He didn't even know he had something like a shadow contract; this meant it wasn't a skill or anything like that but just something he had.
