Chapter 43

Looking at Amber, the woman charges forward. Throwing a hand up the glove glows brighter and a blue flame shoots out from it. Leaning to the side the woman dodges the blue flame and sends a large pillar of water at Amber.

Grabbing forward with her left hand, a giant flaming hand appears and grabs the pillar of water. As the water boils away, a screen of steam appears around them. As the woman rushes to Amber's side, Amber swings the cape in front of her.

The cape blows the steam away, while sending a blast of heat towards the sword woman. Being knocked back the woman slashes out and sends waves of miasma at Amber. Bringing her arms close together a wall of flame appears.

Forming a naginata made of flame, Amber leaps through the flame wall and slashes down. Feeling her sword start to heat up considerably the woman jumps back. As her foot touches the ground flames melt the ground.

Falling down the woman gets burned. Spinning the naginata around, Amber sends multiple waves of flames, mana, and miasma at the woman. Struggling to block all the attacks the woman is pushed back.

Back at the desk, the man picks up the message stone, "Sir yeah I know that you already know Amber is in that difficulty, however I think this should interest you. I will be sending you what she is currently doing right now."

"Really now!" the other side bellows.

"Just watch. She is inexperienced with magic yes. However this is something you should see," the man at the desk says.

"Fine, I'll watch this thing you are sending then," the other side grumbles.

Watching over it a couple of times, "She will be worth spending resources on. She needs to be trained properly. If she can already access the flame priestess form, then she can go far. She is really intune with flame.

"Have you kept track of her score so far? If so tell me her current score, and how long it has been, since she has started this training program we have."

"Sir it has been two and a half weeks sense she started and her score is outstanding to say the least. Not only does she have the 50k from just entering the hardest difficulty, she has killed enough of the monsters to gain another 20k from just the number she has killed. She has killed monsters that hunt or herd in groups. Which for those three different groups she hunted adds another 5k total.

"She has tamed a panther. Which in another 5k of taming a creature. In the same day she managed to get it to evolve. Evolving it is another 10k. Evolving it within the time period of a day adds another 20k. So with all of that it is 110k points.

"Which isn't including how she passed the first two tests within a week. The first test taking her only one day which is another 10k. The survival portion of the test only took her five days. Which is worth another 30k points due to the speed. So far she is breaking all records for that difficulty.

"Until she finishes we can't determine how many points she gains from breaking the records so far. At this point she is at the same pace as the person who went through emperor difficulty the fastest. Which would mean she would have finished on that difficulty at the same pace if not faster then that person. The tournament section is the only reason why she hasn't sped up ahead of that person yet.

"So I can only say for sure that she has earned 150k points. Which for being there slightly under three weeks is impressive. Sense the fastest person to complete the True Heavenly Path of Ascension route. Which was behind by a week only had 100k points by this time," the man at the desk calmly explains.

"She has regained her memories. I forgot she signed the contract," the other side sighs.

"Sir what do you mean by that?"

"Well you see she tried to do this a year ago. But she wasn't allowed. She started to read up on what this entailed afterwards. Me and several others caught her doing so. We had her sign a contract. Part of the contract was to let us seal her memories after she was done researching this. The seal would only last till she could enter into this area."

"So you mean to say, she knows how to gain points, and what the current records are for the most part?"

"Anything that is easily available at least. She doesn't know anything about the two hardest difficulties. Those are kept secret among those that work at that desk, those that complete it, and those of high enough standing."

"So she is just treating it like it is emperor to gain as many points as possible. But those monsters shouldn't be like chickens at a slaughter house. She makes it seem like they are nothing," the man says.

"Well you don't know what she does for her daily training outside of here. Besides her sparring against the off duty guards, she does a lot more. Most of it is kept under wraps, by her. She doesn't say how she trains on a regular basis. Unless someone sees her train, we won't know all aspects of her daily routine. Call me when she finishes."

"I will do so sir," the man at the desk says.

In his office the man thinks to himself, 'I should train her. However sadly I am not able to teach her flame. She can probably already enter the intersection between here and the flame realm. What I can teach her is beast taming. I need to see what classes she has chosen. I will need a second person to help me still. Possibly Ms.Madeline would be willing. She is the best flame wielder we have here. She has reached the flame empress state. She is only one level away from the flame goddess state.

'Sadly only one person in the world at a time can enter the flame goddess state. Otherwise we could have risen higher by now. Well I should make the call. She showed an interest in Amber last year anyway. Oh well, hopefully she will be willing to share her as a disciple,' he sighs.
