Arthur's eyes instantly lit up, thinking that probably his father wasn't as ruthless as he thought. No matter how much his mind told him that was not the case, he was eager to hold on to that glimmer of hope.

And I would have given them both to you if not for the safety of the people, including the various imperial members in this palace. Even Maria wouldn't accept it if she came to know about it since our enemies could catch us defenseless.
"However, the remaining two are with the Gale Empire. I am sure if Alchemist Azrael personally makes a visit to the Gale Empire, they would give you face and let you borrow it."
