The maids and the guards were all gathered before the royal family, General Livius, General Cyan, and Dherek. The only person excluded in there was the Little Prince.

He, together with his maid, was excluded.

Rita made sure of that. She did not want the boy to be involved in anything that was going to happen and someone had to take care of him.

The guard was not yet back with Steve. However, Cyan decided to go on with the search. She had earlier asked for the arrow that was shot at Steve. The maids were going to be checked first.

Lilac was relieved that her brother, King Nixon, was not present there. It seems like her prayer has been answered.

"Who is it that you suspect?" Cyan asked, directing the question to no one in particular. This was because she asked the question while facing the maids and guards. Therefore, King Richard and General Livius did not know whether he or the other person should answer.

"The person is..." They both said at the same time. They stopped seeing that they were both talking at the same time.

Cyan looked at the back, towards them with her brows raised at them. Then, Richard and Livius looked at each other and cleared their throats. On doing this, they looked at each other again. And they felt awkward.

"Uhmm, you can go first, Your Highness. " Livius said to Richard. Richard nodded his head at him. "The person we suspect is the girl named..." He trailed off as he forgot her name. "What is her name again?" He quietly inquired from Livius.

"Yoddal, Your Highness." Livius also replied to him in a quiet voice quickly.

"The person we suspect is the girl named Yoddal," Richard said out loud so that the people can hear.

It was at this moment that Steve and the guard walked in.

They both bowed to Richard, Livius, and Rita. The guard also bowed at Cyan but Steve did not as he had no idea who Cyan was.

Richard saw this and was about to command him to show her some respect but she stopped him, seeing no need in that. Instead, she decided to ask him some questions.

"Do you have any idea who it might be that shot the arrow at you?" She asked him to which Steve shook his head.

"It seems that you do not know who I am. Let me introduce myself to you. I am General Cyan of Rovindall and this person..." Cyan said as she pointed at Dherek. "...is Dherek. My second in command. I am here to help your Kingdom with the incoming war." She completed her statement. Steve nodded his head at her.

He bowed respectfully at her as he recalled General Livius saying he would request the help of an important General. He was a little surprised that she was female but was however okay with it.

She showed him the arrow given to her, "Is this the arrow shot at you?" She asked him. "Yes, General." He said as he nodded at her in positive.

"Okay." She said and turned back to the maids. "So who is Yoddal among you all?" She directed her question to all the maids. Yoddal glared hard at both Richard and Livius. Cyan noticed her glare and asked her, "Are you Yoddal?"

Yoddal looked at her and nodded her head. "Yes." She said rather confidently. Cyan noticed her confidence. She expected her to show a little bit of fear rather, she exuded confidence.

She immediately felt intrigued by the girl.

"So you are the one who shot the arrow at this man?" Cyan asked her. "No, she did not shoot any arrow at me." Steve declared. They all looked at him. They wondered why he was defending her (Yoddal).

Yoddal felt very happy and smiled at him. 'He came to my defense. This means something. Nobody can tell me otherwise.' She thought happily to herself.

Cyan also noticed this and knew immediately that something was going on between those two. And from the surprised look on the face of those in the hall, she knew immediately that they did know not what is going on between them. She could not help but shake her head in pity for them as she had a gut feeling that

General Livius and King Richard were surprised by Steve coming to the girl's defense. "What is wrong with you? Why are you defending her? All common sense points that she did it." General Livius said to him.

"I'm sorry but not all common sense points that she did it. She gave me a medicine that healed me faster than the one the Royal Physician prescribed. If she planned to kill me, would she have given me such medicine?" Steve said and ended his statement with a rhetorical question.

"Well, she could have planned to..." King Richard started but was rudely interrupted by General Cyan.

"There is no need for any argument whatsoever. Let us just find out if she truly is the spy or not." Cyan said.

She felt that there was no need no to argue when they could just found if their suspicion was correct or not.

"Yoddal, I will need you to show me your collarbone. I need to check if you have the mark." She said to her.

"What mark?" Yoddal asked her back. "A mark of the Mocrisans. Their soldiers or whoever it is that is working for the military or anything that has to do with their security has this mark. And a spy would belong to this category hence why I want to know whoever it is that has this mark." She explained to them.

"Oh. Okay." Yoddal said. She then took her hand to her back and loosened the rope tied together which was there to hold the clothes together. She rolled down the top of the cloth to her collarbone. Cyan checked the place and nothing was there. She then asked Yoddal to stand aside.

She checked the collarbone of every single maid and she saw nothing. She checked the last maid's collarbone and saw nothing. She was about to move to the guards when she stopped. She looked at the last maid who had already stepped aside and requested she comes back to her.

The maid moved to her and Cyan checked her collarbone again. She noticed that that particular area was lighter than the rest of her neck downwards. She removed her handkerchief from the pocket of her dress. She then used the handkerchief to wipe her collarbone, she checked her handkerchief and saw that it had a brown color on it.

"Hmm." Cyan hummed. She hummed and then requested a bowl of water. She requested Yoddal to bring it for her. Yoddal brought the bowl of water and Cyan dipped her handkerchief in it. She then wiped the maid's collarbone with the now-wet handkerchief. After a few wiping, a mark began to show on the maid's collarbone.

Soon enough, the mark showed clearly. She motioned for Dherek to come closer which he did. She checked the mark that was on the arrow and it was the same as the one on the maid's collarbone.

Yoddal gasped on seeing this and said immediately, "She has the mark." Immediately, the maid also tried to run away but her hand was gripped tightly by Cyan, who gave her no chance to even showcase her fighting skills.

"Seize her!" King Richard said. The guards moved quickly to grab her and then took her away. The maid screamed in fear, knowing fully well that they were going to kill her.

"You may all leave now." General Cyan told the rest of the maids and the guards. They all bowed and started moving to leave.

As they were leaving, King Nixon walked into the hall with Lilac and his soldiers. "What is going on here? I heard screaming. Care to tell me, General Cyan?" He asked her. Teasing could be heard in his voice which surprised his soldiers and Lilac.

Yoddal included.

Mena ordered them all to stop. "It will not show any respect for us to hear King Nixon's voice and not greet him. Now, we all turn back and show him respect by greeting him." She said.

"I don't think that is necessary. We can just go ahead and..." Yoddal tried to convince them from doing so. Her brother would see her. And Steve was also around.

"No Yoddal. I am the one in charge here, so you do what I say. Am I clear?" Mena told her authoritatively. She nodded her head hesitantly, and that was after glaring at her.

Yoddal was now in panic and knew not what to do. She was the one at the very back, so if they were to turn to her brother, she would be the one at the front.

She kept her eyes tightly closed as they turned to greet her brother.
