Chapter 12

We got home and I went inside my room quietly, I took off my dress and had a quick bath. I washed up and ate my snacks

Then I proceeded downstairs to wait for mr dennis mum, I was scared.

I didn't know what to expect, if she'd like me or not…..I've been trying to avoid but I knew that something like this would still happen sooner or later.

After waiting for about an hour, I heard a knock on the door, "she's around", mr dennis said.

My heart skipped and I adjusted myself well. I bowed my head as she came in.

I must confess, his mum is a goddess… she looked so young and stunning. I was mesmerized by her beauty but I tried not to show it.

I greeted her and sat back quietly, she walked up to me, pulled me up and hugged me tightly…. I was surprised

I wasn't expecting her to do something like that on a first meeting

She pecked me and smiled heartily, You're so beautiful, welcome my in- law

U didn't tell me ur girlfriend was this pretty,

Girlfriend? I thought in my heart, but we've not gotten to that stage yet now.

I looked at mr dennis with my eyes wide opened in shock. He winked and I understood.

His mum was very jovial, she joked and even made meals for us, she told me how naughty dennis could be sometimes….she even shared all his embarrassing moments.

I laughed hard, I totally forgot how nervous I was.

After spending about two hours with us, she finally left, now without giving me a token though.

I went into mr dennis room and asked him why he told his mum we were dating when we're not.

He looked at me and smiled. He walked up to me and pulled me to himself.

"My mum wants me to get married, I don't have a fiancée and I'm really in love with you, pls let's make this real, let's make her dreams come true…I promise, I'll never hurt you" he said

I looked at him with my mouth opened, the truth is that I actually liked him too, but I wasn't expecting it to come out this way.

" well, I guess we could give it a try" I said, almost in a whisper.

He hugged me and we kissed passionately…. He carried me gently and put me on the bed.

"What are u doing " I asked with a smile.

"I don't know" he replied and kissed my neck.😏

" sleep in my room tonight" he ordered

And I found myself nodding positively.

He smiled and we cuddled through the night.

" I'm glad you're all mine" he said with a wide grin.
