Leave in Anger

Seeing the look of disgust on Daniel's face, Georgie complained angrily, "Hey, what's with that look? I told you my plan because you're my friend, and now you're judging me." 

But even after hearing Georgie's words, Daniel's expression remained unchanged. He responded, "You're such a pervert at such a young age. I can't imagine what you'll be like when you're older. Do you even realize what you just told me? This isn't a plan—it's a guaranteed way to break up with your girlfriend. You love her, right? How can you even think of doing something like this to her? Don't fantasize about your plan succeeding, because it won't. Have you ever considered what would happen if your girlfriend found out about this? She'd never want to be in a relationship with you again. She'd break up with you on the spot. So, drop this useless plan and focus on treating your girlfriend right." 

Daniel was actually saying all this for Georgie's own good. He knew that if Georgie followed through with his plan, it would be a huge mistake. Georgie would never be able to progress in his relationship with his girlfriend and would eventually face a breakup. Daniel genuinely wanted Georgie to abandon his foolish plan and his useless fantasy. 

But Georgie, unwilling to back down, rebutted Daniel, saying, "What do you know? I've been working for months to perfect this plan. It might have risks, but it also has a high possibility of succeeding." 

Daniel shook his head, clearly frustrated. "Georgie, you need to listen to me. No matter how much time you've spent on this plan, it doesn't change the fact that it's fundamentally flawed. Relationships aren't about scheming or manipulating to get what you want. They're about trust, respect, and genuine connection. If you go through with this, you're not only risking your relationship but also showing a complete disregard for your girlfriend's feelings." 

Georgie's face showed a mixture of stubbornness and desperation. "I know my girlfriend, Daniel. I know how clueless she is, and I know this will work. It's just... unconventional. But it's not like I'm doing something terrible. It's just a bit of a push in making my fantasy to reality" 

Daniel sighed deeply, placing a hand on Georgie's shoulder. "Unconventional is one thing, Georgie, but deceitful and perverted are another. Think about how she'll feel if she finds out what you've been planning. It's not just about whether the plan works or not; it's about the kind of person you want to be and the kind of relationship you want to have. Trust me on this one—drop the plan." 

But Georgie still didn't want to give up his plan. He stopped Daniel from speaking and said, "Daniel, every man has a dream that he needs to work hard to achieve. This is my dream. If I achieve it, I'll be a man that most others envy. Taking the risk of losing my girlfriend is a small price to pay. Besides, I've taken many precautions so that she never finds out about this, whether the plan succeeds or fails. So, no matter what you say, I'm going through with it." 

Seeing Georgie's determination, Daniel could only sigh and say, "Okay, do whatever you please. But remember, don't come crying to us when both your dreams and your girlfriend leave you. If this is your grand plan, then I'm leaving. I don't want to hear anything more about it. I don't want to be associated with such perversion." 

Hearing Daniel call him a pervert again, Georgie retorted angrily, "Why do you keep calling me a pervert? Don't label me like that. Besides, if anyone among us is more of a pervert, it's you. Don't think I don't know about that locked folder on your laptop." 

Daniel, startled by the mention of his laptop, quickly denied Georgie's accusation. "What locked folder? There is no such folder on my laptop. You're just making things up." 

Georgie replied with a sly smile, "Really? No such folder? But I distinctly remember seeing a hidden, locked folder named 'study material' on your hard drive." 

Daniel replied, as if he had just remembered about that folder, "Oh, that folder. Well, it contains some additional course material that I'm thinking of taking. What does it have to do with being a pervert?" 

Georgie asked, "Then why are you keeping it hidden and locked? If it's study material, why are you keeping it so tightly hidden if there's nothing shady inside?" 

Daniel stammered a bit in reply, "The study materials inside are very important. That's why I lock it up, so no one can go in and delete it." 

Georgie pressed further, "Oh, really? But why do I remember seeing a collection of videos inside?" 

Hearing that Georgie saw the collection of videos inside the folder, Daniel's expression sank. "You're bluffing. How could you see what's inside the folder? The password is impossible to guess. You're just making false accusations to paint me as the same as you." 

Georgie, with a sly smile on his lips, replied, "My friend, I'm not bluffing. As for finding out your secret password, no matter how hard the password is, against technology it is still nothing." He took out a pen drive from his pocket and continued explaining, "You see this, my friend? Although it looks like a pen drive, it is actually a top-tier password hacking tool. It cost me $2000 to buy, and even then, it was very hard to find on the market. I had to order it from abroad, and it was very troublesome. But what can I say, every penny I spent on this device was worth it. Otherwise, how could I have learned about the various types of study material you keep on your laptop?" 

Georgie shook his head mockingly. "Tsk tsk tsk, my friend, I have to admit that the collection of your study material is very extensive. From the sheer amount inside that folder, I can imagine you must have spent a large amount of time and diligence collecting all these study materials. Especially the videos from that one genre, which make up almost half the total study materials in the folder." 

The more Georgie spoke, the angrier Daniel became. His face had already turned as black as the bottom of a pot. Georgie noticed Daniel's rising anger but still didn't stop, continuing with his teasing comments. "My friend, I have to admit that your taste is even more unique than mine. If my level of perversion is rated at a 10, then yours would be rated at 100." 

Daniel couldn't find any words to respond. Instead, he shot a glare at Georgie before turning on his heel and storming out of the alley. Georgie, seeing Daniel's retreating back, didn't try to stop him. He simply smiled, knowing that his friend was too embarrassed to continue the conversation.
