Sixty Percent

Some minutes of silence went by before a girl finally raised her hand.

"Yes,Bridget" Sofia spoke.

"Uhm,I'd like to leave"

"Very well,I thank you for your service towards our cause" Sofia replied,bowing slightly.

"Same here" Another raised her hand.

"Ok then,do we have anyone else who'd like to leave?" Sofia asked.

After two girls left the group,the others became more vocal and opted to leave the gang.

"That makes ten" Mirai whispered as another member walked out of the bakery.

"I take it the rest of you are still with me?"

"Heck yeah,I can never leave you" Mirai smirked.

"We're not doing this for you. We just want to see criminals taken down" Jessica grunted.

"We're with you all the way,Sofia" Droyle said as her sister nodded her head affirmatively.

"Thank you guys,I can't promise that the path would be easy,but I swear on my life that I would not leave anyone behind"

"How noble of you" Jessica said sarcastically.

"Okay" Sofia nodded sadly."Uhm,I'd like everyone to just take it easy. We went through a lot ,so a little rest would do some good"

"Yeah thanks" Dryle said as she left the bakery with her sister.

Phoebe,who had been quiet the while time, finally spoke:

"I'm sorry that I wasn't of any use back then"

"What are you talking about? Without you,we wouldn't even get a place to have meetings like this. Yes,you can't fight but that doesn't mean you're useless" Sofia said gently as she patted Phoebe's shoulder.

"Thank you"

"I'm very grateful for what y'all have done. For devoting your time and effort towards this cause,I can't possibly thank you guys enough"

"Awwn,isn't that cute,Jessica" Mirai smiled, nudging her gently.

"Shut up" Jessica said with a faint smile.

"That'd be it. Have a great day,guys" Sofia said before walking out.

"She makes it so hard" Jessica whispered.

"What?" Mirai asked.

"I can't be mad at her" Jessica murmured.

"Sir,four of the seven dawns have replied" Finley announced.

"The other three?"

"No response from them yet"

"Shit" Herman sighed."Alright,have them know that this is a matter of utmost importance. A matter that can determine the fate of all we've worked for"

"As you wish,sir" Finley said."About the investigation,we have about a hundred females named Sofia"

"I've totally forgotten about that" Herman said, massaging his temples."Do you remember her face?"

"Who? Sofia?"

"Yes"

"Great,run it with the hundred Sofias we know"

"Yes,sir" Finley said before leaving.

"I hope we get her before the cops do" Herman sighed."Our sales are also decreasing. I need to do something fast"

"Are you going?" Livius asked.

"I have to"

"What of the others?",

"If this issue wasn't as important as it is,most of the dawns might not attend ,but that's not the case"

"I haven't met the other dawns. How are they like?"

"Well,the fifth dawn is the calmest of us ,but she can be a wildcat when boredom comes into the equation"

"Wait,she? I didn't know y'all had a girl among the dawns"

"Two actually,the fifth and seventh"

"Five males and two females,that's dumb"

"Yeah" Kyle chuckled."We originally had three females in our ranks:the fifth,sixth,and seventh ,but the sixth said she wanted to experience masculinity" He said, putting air quotes around the last word.

"What?"

"Essentially,she did some kind of surgery to be a man"

"She did that just because she was bored?!"

"Yep" Kyle laughed."You should have seen our faces when she came to us as a male"

"Talk about extreme" Livius muttered.

In rheurym

"Let's go on a quest together" Cesar said.

"And why would I do that?" Rita asked.

" Because two is better than one ,and the job gets completed faster plus our rank increases"

"Yes,I know of the benefits ,but why should I go with you?"

"How dare you? You know I'm the perfect adventurer" Cesar smirked.

"Mm-hmm"

"Come on,it's gonna be fun" Cesar persuaded.

"Alright,but I get sixty percent of the reward"

"Sixty?! That's more than half!"

"Exactly, Sherlock,you coming or not?"

"I can't believe you" Cesar murmured as they headed to the large television in the middle of the room.

"The quests are displayed in order of difficulty ,so that means the easy quests are at the bottom"

"I know. This isn't my first time choosing a quest"

"How about this one?" Cesar pointed to a quest which read:

"Stop the minotaurs plaguing the aves"

"Sounds simple enough,right?" Cesar asked.

"I don't know. Let's get some background information first" Rita replied as she clicked the quest. Immediately,a voice started talking in their heads.

"The minotaurs are fairly related to the orcs. They are characterized by their curved horns and bull-like form. Recently,they have had an insane urge to display their power,and this often harms the other races,one of which is the aves. They are docile creatures with an humanoid form. However,they possess wings and are a little on the short side. The minotaurs take from the aves and also destroy their buildings and farmlands"

"Enough for you?" Cesar asked after the voice finished.

"Yeah, we're taking that quest and bringing those fucking minotaurs down" Rita seethed.

"Okay, let's get some things first"

"What things"

"Healing and attack potions.We might need a smoke bomb ,and an hypnosis or illusion spell might also come in handy" Cesar murmured.

"Alright,I'll be waiting here" Rita waved as he headed to the store."He's probably doing all this to get in my pants" She thought."Men will be men"

After Cesar got the supplies, they transported to the quest's location.

"This isn't what I had in mind" Cesar murmured as they stood in front of acres of debris. Stretched before them lay hundreds of avians either fatally wounded or dead. Some of the dead were even missing body parts."This seems like the front lines of some war"

A whisper came from beneath the rubble ,and Rita rushed to the source.

"He's still alive" She announced."Don't you worry,I'll kill those fuckwads that did this to your people"
