Mermen tribe

The fourth year, I finally found a time path cave, I stay in this cave for the whole year experimenting and upgrading my Ethereal Time Gu to Rank 4. It was a funny cave were somewhere you would be in an accelerated time or in a decelerated time, you would find the world outside of it moving faster or slower. The beasts living inside seem to be either immune to those small-time variation or able to manipulate there on time.

Fifth year, I breakthrough to high Rank 4 and found an interesting Retrace Time Gu in the time cave, it can show the event that happen in a certain space, a useful Gu for investigation. What's more I develop a killer move with it and Short Lived Gu that permit to heal me gradually, more like getting me back to peak state by retracing time. I left the time cave and continue exploring. Two months later, I found an interesting cave where everything seems to have a different nature than their original one. Knowing the paths that will appear in the future I immediately thought of transformation path and start researching about it.

Sixth year, the transformation cave was quite useful: since I was able to create a Gu that permit myself to change species outwardly at least. With that Gu I will be able to start exploring the outside world since information and transformation path an extremely rare, I shouldn't have problem with getting uncover by mortal and immortal shouldn't interfere too much with the secular world I hope at least. I start searching for a way out of the underground network for the first time since I am in this world.

Eighth year, it took me two years to find an access to the surface, I'm now a peak Rank 4 Gu master and ready to explore this fantasy world. My exit led me to a cave on a big island brimming with life, the view was breath taking between the sun and the sea passing by the vegetation, everything was perfect. I would never have though that the underground network was so deep, that's surely why we were never discover by the variant human. I start looking around the island and seeing a lack of interesting things I decide to change my appearance to a merman and dive in the sea hoping to find a merman tribe. As I explore the sea, I found useful Gu like Water Breathing Gu and Fast Swimming Gu I buff them and applied the effect infinitely, with that I can't be found out by the merman for not being able to always stay underwater.

Ninth year, I found a merman tribe, I was able to become part of it by helping a merman Gu master when he was in danger that I previously create. With the credulous nature of the variant human, even more during this era it was easy to get accepted and rise in rank and reputation. After reaching a certain reputation by notably seducing a daughter from one of the Rank 5 Gu master I was able to read every information I wish to. I got too many information and to keep everything I had to use a Rank 5 Bookworm Gu that let a Gu master retain an enormous quantity of information.

Tenth year, I designated myself for the political visit to other variant human tribes along with my now wife Shui Yan. The first tribe we had to visit was also a merman tribe, not really surprise since I am in eastern sea region. It starts getting interesting when I remark that most of the tribe have different knowledge due to the different sea present around their village. As an emissary I was allowed in their libraries, so the travel was quite fruitful even before we start visiting eggmen and rockman tribe in some island, there the knowledge was so different, mostly on the underground, and even with the ten years I passed down there I didn't have ten percent of their knowledge on it. The one which give me the most knowledge was without a doubt a featheman tribe we manage to meet by God know which miracle.

Eleventh year, I finish the political work along with my wife and our entourage we went back to our tribe, and we were welcome by the tribe elder to discuss the relation we manage to conserve and strengthen. Without lying playing mind game with variant human is pretty easy because variant humans aren't the smartest. After that I enter seclusion along my wife for the rest of the year, at the end I was able to become a Rank 5 Gu master at thirty-four years old. Quite average for an A grade talent, but since I was B grade before its ok.

Twelfth year, as a Rank 5 Gu master my statue inside the clan start to rise far faster, I became an elder and got access to the immortal knowledge the tribe has. As I thought their theorical knowledge on how ascension work is far less than what I knew from the novel but the practical knowledge on how to balance the three Qi and places where the Qi of Heaven and earth are the best had quite some details. During this year using my rise on the political side, I start experimenting on wisdom path and the society life from human path.

Thirteenth year, I spent my year using my connection and accumulate wealth to rank up all my important Gu to Rank 5, I have now Amplify effect Gu Tier 5, One With Space Gu Tier 5, Short Lived Gu Tier 5, Poisonous Spider Gu Tier 5, Ethereal Time Gu Tier 5, Pocket Space Gu Tier 5, Time Stop Gu Tier 5, and Space Slash Gu Tier 5. The Amplify Effect Gu Rank 5 along Short Lived Gu with my Infini special ability make me near immune to every mortal Gu effect, that make me nearly invincible below Immortal Rank. I quasi sure that I will reach the peak of Rank 5 in the next twelve years, but I am sure I will be ready for my ascension at that time, I only need to focus on my attainments and social relation to have the best amount of human qi possible outside of an extreme physique Gu master.
