The Bethrowed 1

Xi Momo sat in the garden meditating in the dawn of the day, her sister Xi Yunyi entered the garden and called to her "Sister Momo mom's around" Momo didn't hear as she was in a world of her own, Yunyi went forward and tapped her sister by the shoulder, Momo gradually opened her eyes and glared at her sister angrily.

"I thought I made myself clear not to be disturbed "

"Am sorry sister Momo"

"This better be something good unless" Momo tapped her sword her sister moved backward

"Mom's around and she asked me to call you" Xi Momo sighed "I guess she brought another man that she want to bethrow me into" her sister laughed

"You guessed right but this time his handsome and hot , I wish I had a guy like him"

Momo stands up and walked passed her sister, Yunyi immediately followed her

"Sister Momo slow down a bit"

Momo and Yunyi entered the parlour and saw her mom and a man sitting down.

Momo went forward to great her mother " good day mom"

Her mother gestured to the man sitting down

"Meet You..."

The man coughed "I would like to keep it a secret for now"

Her mother stopped in fear "Okay"

Momo looked at him and was surprised as her mother stopped in fear the same mother who was very stubborn to everybody.

'who exactly is he' but that was what she was supposed to be thinking about right now

"I won't be getting engaged to him, no matter what you say, and don't even think about marriage"

Her mother stood up, furious, "You are still debating, nobody wants to marry you again, An Yun even came all the way here to see you due to your disobedience to follow me...you know what you have no place for any word, you are always carrying a sword practicing martial arts instead of behaving like a girl. Nobody wants to marry you anymore". Momo suddenly laughed out loud

"That's even better that nobody wants to marry me, now that Mr An Yun has heard about my behaviors I guess he can pack up and leave"

Xi Momo turned back and started walking toward the door, her mother shouted "Get back here you ungrateful daughter, I have been the one taking care of you ever since your father died, do you think he will be happy looking at his daughter like this"

Momo stopped and turned back to look at her mother and shouted at her angrily"Don't you dare involve my Father in this matter. Do you think he would be happy when you are always trying to sell his daughter to every man possible, is there a reason why you are trying to get rid of me"

Her mother was caught off guard by the sudden out burst of her daughter.

"N...No"

"Then leave me alone and you never cared about us after dad's death you were always in your universe even when we needed you. And let me warn you now don't you dare do what you did to me to my sister unless I will make you regret it".

She turned back and started walking away angrily, Yunyi who had been standing their all the time went and stood in front of her.

"Sister Momo please mom's sorry don't go anywhere, you might do something bad out of anger" Momo glared at Yunyi

"Get out of my way"

Yunyi didn't budge "No, I won't let you go"

Momo scoffed and shoved Yunyi away and Yunyi fell down and Momo left angrily.

Yunyi stood up and glared at her mom.

"Did you see what you caused, ever since Dad died she changed without him around, but never tried to understand her you only wanted to sell her off to any man you know she tried to date Xun Funye but he tried to molest her" .

Her mother gasped in shock and Yunyi scoffed.

"Of course you didn't know, if it weren't for her martial arts she would have lost her innocence and herself, but you were only focused on changing her behaviour and leave what she cherished and protects her, you don't even know what going on with me and she's the only one I can rely on, if you break her I swear on dad I will make you pay"

Yunyi left to chase her sister, their mother ran to An Yun side "Am sorry Your Highness, I will get her back here".

An Yun laughed "No need,I find her interesting" .

Her mother eye shunned in suprise "What"

"Don't worry, I have to leave and they no need to see me out".

An Yun left and their mother slumped on the floor looking up "Honey am sorry, I can't do this, I have to tell her , I really can't afford to offend her I can't lose both of my children"

She started crying.

Momo went outside and went to the garden, she went into the garden house and opened a cupboard which was full of clothes and brought some clothes which were male attire, she wore the a male attire and was about to leave the garden House when her sister entered

"sister Momo where are you going"

Xi Momo did not answer and passed her, Yunyi ran to her front.

"Sister Momo even though you are angry at mom please remember me, you are the only one I have left".

Xi Momo moved away in front of her sister and continue the walking towards the door and then Yunyi shouted "I will kill myself if you take a step further"

Xi Momo ccontinued working and said "Please go ahead, it's not like I care about you"

Then Yunyi suddenly screamed and fainted and Momo looked back and was shocked to see her sister lying down on the floor with her eyes closed, she ran to her side and Yunyi opened her eyes

"I thought you didn't care about me , it's not like I'm trying to frustrate you, just tell me where you're going".
