The sun began to soar, Rose's blood had dried and clotted on the grass and earth, while her body was being buried in the large backyard of the mansion.

Yustina took a sip of her tea, then ate a piece of bread to quell her hunger in the morning. As for David, he had just finished showering and cleaning himself.

There was no longer any trace of blood on his body, so fragrant and clean as if he was a different person from David who killed his mother blindly at night.

David grabbed a piece of bread off the plate and spread the jam on it. "Did Mommy sleep well?"
