REUNITED WITH MY EX: My Toxic Ex Fiance

"Sebastian what did I ever do to you, to deserve this ill treatment?". I asked him with tears in my eyes. "I hate you so much Bianca." Sebastian said to me with a cold and a harsh tone. I stood there like a drenched cat, letting the tears flow down my cheeks freely. Sebastian fixed his eyes on the magazines on his hands, not showing any sign of sympathy towards me. "Fine. This will be the last time you would be seeing me." I said to him with a shaking voice. "Go faraway, where I would never have to deal with you again." He replied back to me coldly. I nodded my head in tears, barging out of the bedroom. "SALFORD ROYAL HOSPITAL"

The next day, Liam had his morning bath earlier than he usually does. He wanted to visit the hospital he saw on Zoey's birth certificate.

Sebastian was preparing to visit Mr Baker at his office in the company.

He was almost rounding up the business contract he signed with him.

Sebastian was doing his best recently, to prove his worth as a responsible heir of his father's company. He wanted his father to give him a good remark and hand over his company to him, without feeling distressed or doubtful. Mr Kurtz could clearly see the best Sebastian was giving into the company, but he never praised him for that, because he didn't want Sebastian to fall back into his comfort zone again.

Mr Kurtz wanted Sebastian to feel like he was always going to be resented, even though he gives his best to the company. This would make him work harder, even ten times more than he would work on a normal day.

**At Sebastian's living room...

Sebastian was polishing his pair of black leather shoes at the living room, when Liam came in already dressed up. There was this surprise on Sebastian's face.

"Liam, you're off already?". Sebastian asked him surprisedly.

"Yes I'm. I have something to take care of." Liam replied him with a smile.

"Hazel promised us something delicious for breakfast. Won't you be joining us?". Sebastian asked him.

Liam shook his head in refusal, sitting down next to Sebastian on the couch. He felt it would be better if he doesn't even stay for the breakfast at all, because it would be prepared by his obssessive crush Hazel.

"You should know that I always want to escape from your sister's sight." Liam said to him.

"You won't even be kind enough, to give her a chance?". Sebastian asked him.

"No I won't. I feel nothing for her, and I can't pretend to because you're my closet friend." Liam said to him.

Sebastian was unsatisfied with his reply, and he really wanted his younger sister to move on from Liam, or she would always remain sad and unhappy. She wanted no one but Liam. She has refused so many relationships in the past because of her undying love for Liam.

"I feel sorry for Hazel. I understand." Sebastian said to Liam with a smile.

"Thanks for your understanding bro." Liam thanked him, requesting for a bro hug.

Sebastian forced out a smile after the friendly hug. Liam stood up, taking his leave now. He wanted to be at the hospital earlier, to be able to meet the doctor.

He boarded a taxi that took him there. It was a very large hospital and it was recently renovated and have been given new styles. The hospital was sure an old hospital.

Liam paid off the taxi driver, and took a deep breath before entering inside the hospital. He was on a face cap, that roughly showed off his eyes. He didn't want any familiar person to recognize him at the hospital.

Getting into the hospital, Liam saw different nurses patrolling round the vicinity. He held onto those documents tightly, heading over to the counter.

The receptionist and the nurse in charge of the files of patients and administering those patients to the different units, were the ones seated at the counter.

"Good morning." He greeted both or them.

They looked at him, responding back to his greeting. Liam faced the nurse, taking a deep breath before saying another word. The nurse looked so young, and he wondered if she would even know the doctor that was responsible for my child birth sixteen years ago.

"How may I help you mister?". She asked him with a smile.

"Take a look at this." He said to her, showing her the birth certificate.

The nurse squinted her eyes to read the content of the certificate. Liam made sure she didn't see his eyes, because it would be a loss on his side, if she successfully sees what he looks like. He adjusted his face cap, making sure it overshadowed his eyes.

"I don't have any idea about this birth certificate. I have been working here for about five years now." She said to him confusedly.

"You don't know Doctor Florence Eleanor?". He asked her.

"I'm sorry, but such person doesn't exist here at all." She said to him with regret.

Liam got angry with himself, because he was expecting that everything would go successfully. He decided to leave the hospital and come back some other time. About leaving, someone called him back to the counter. He noticed that it was an older nurse, that had visited the counter to collect a patient's file from the nurse he spoke with earlier.

"Is there a problem?". She asked him with a cracked voice.

"I guess you might have answer to my question." He said to her with a limelight of hope.

"He's asking about a doctor named Florence Eleanor." The other nurse chipped in.

The older nurse went into some thinking, and her mood changed immediately. Liam and the other nurse looked at her confusedly, wondering what was going on with her. That name sure rang a bell in her ears.

"Please follow me to my office." She ordered him.

"Alright ma'am." He responded.

Liam followed her behind, heading towards her office. Both of them entered inside her office and she offered him a chair.

" I was surprised to hear that name from your mouth earlier." She said to him, adjusting her broad glasses.

"That means, you know who I was talking about earlier right?". Liam asked her with his eyes bulged out.

"Yes I do." She replied him.

Liam's joy knew no bounds at the moment. He was overwhelmed by her reply. He tried his best to remain calm, so as not to appear suspicious.

"She stopped working here for about ten years now. Her was already getting old and her age couldn't allow her do her work successfully." She said with so much sadness in her voice.

"So where's she now?". He asked her.

"Madam Florence is in heaven now. We lost her a year ago." She announced the sad news to him.

Liam was shocked to hear that, and his face turned pale. His search for the truth was fruitless, because she was the only one that would have told him everything concerning Zoey's birth.

"There's no hope now." Liam said to her, about standing up.

"What's the main purpose of your coming?". She asked him concernedly.

"Take a look at this birth certificate." Liam said to her, returning back to his seat.

She collected it from Liam, adjusting her glasses once more. She read through it, having a glimpse of remembrance of the past. The certificate looked so familiar to her.

"Is this not Bianca Mowers child's birth certificate?". She asked him.

"Yes, yes it is. Do you know her?". He asked her anxiously.

"Yes. I was the assistant mid-wife then, when late doctor Florence ran her child birth." She revealed.

Liam was satisfied to hear that, and he guessed she must have atleast some little information surrounding my child birth. He heaved out a sigh of relief, trying to calm himself down.

"I want to know everything about her child's birth. Including the moment Bianca was still pregnant of her child." Liam said to her.

"As little I knew then, she refused us from adding the father of her child in the form we gave her to fill then." She said to him.

"But I'm sure she might have said something about him." He said to her curiously.

"Hmm...she only said that she found out about the pregnancy when she arrived to this city. Her friend said something about her running away from Birmingham and the man she last involved with was a man that was also at Birmingham as of then." The nurse narrated it all to him.

Liam was very shocked to hear the revelation. It all narrowed down to one thing. He started having thoughts that Sebastian might be the biological father to Zoey. While he was lost in thoughts, the nurse brought out an old looking passport from drawer of her table. She handed it over to Liam.

"Ma'am Florence handed that passport picture over to me before she re-signed. She said that it belonged to the spouse of her patient Bianca. According to her, Bianca finally agreed to reveal the face of the father of her child, but that has been a secret between the both of them." She exposed it to him.

Liam glanced through the passport picture, and realized that it was none other than Sebastian in that picture. The picture fell out from his hand out of shock.

"Any problem? Do you need a glass of water?". She asked him anxiously.

"I'm fine ma'am. Thank you so much." Liam thanked her, still surprised.

"Before you take your leave, promise me that no one would find out about this." Nurse Rhoda pleaded with him.

Liam nodded his head, returning back the passport picture to her. He has found out the truth now and everything was starting to make sense to him. He could now see what fate was trying to do. Fate brought Sebastian and Zoey closer to each other, because they shared a special bond between them.
