Bachelor party, as the bride and groom-to-be, Valerie and Damian spent time with their friends on their last night as singles.

They decided to get married after nearly 2 years of dating, and both families had already given their blessings.

The wedding plans shocked the public figures, as Damian, known for being a CEO with changing partners, finally chose Valerie, a regular girl who previously worked at a bakery.

The party took place at a luxurious hotel, full of fun, joy, and laughter until Valerie realized Damian was no longer at the party while others were busy playing games.

After the party, Valerie couldn't find Damian, and even one of the bridesmaids was missing. The girl who had bright brown hair walked along the bachelorette party area which was still busy with several young people enjoying drinks while chatting.

"Do you know where Damian is?" Valerie approached Byanca, one of her close friends and bridesmaids.

"I don't know, but maybe he's with his friends," Byanca replied.

Confused, Valerie continued walking through the decorated hall to perfect the party appearance for the next day.

"Sam..." Valerie ran carefully on her sparkling blue heels when she saw Samuel, Damian's friend, walking down the corridor.

"Valerie?"

"Do you know where Damian is?"

"Um..." Samuel looked away and shrugged. "I've been looking for him too since earlier. But the last time he told me his stomach was bothering him... So I thought he was resting in his room."

"Oh God... I'll go to his room then!"

Valerie hurriedly ran towards Damian's room, not far from Samuel's.

Samuel stood there, remembering the myth that the bride should not meet the groom before the wedding day, especially after the bachelor party.

"Ah, that's just a myth and probably won't affect anything," he said, trying to dismiss negative thoughts.

Valerie stopped in front of Damian's room, and then immediately turned the doorknob.

"Ah, it's not locked..." She smiled, stepping into the room.

Her smile faded as she saw Damian asleep without clothes, with Clara embracing him, both covered only by a blanket.

Valerie felt her heart skip a beat, frozen by the unexpected scene. The previously beautiful room now felt empty and dark, contrasting with the joy outside.

Her emotions were mixed, tears welled up uninvited, blurring her previously beautiful face. Yet, confusion also enveloped her; she didn't know how to respond to this situation.

'Is this an affair? Betrayal? How could this happen?' she wondered, her lips seemingly sealed, her eyes constantly staring at her future husband with her bridesmaid who was still unaware of her presence.

'How can I continue my life with him if he dared to sleep with my friend? Even a friend I trusted dared to tempt him? Then what about our marriage later? Full of lies, deceit... I'll die, even now!'

"You're disgusting!" she shouted.

Damian instantly woke up, as did Clara. His muscular body jerked up, his blue eyes meeting his crying bride on the other side.

"Valerie..." His lips spoke spontaneously, while Clara remained silent, quickly putting on her clothes.

Valerie stood still, shocked, waiting for what they would do.

"I have to go," Clara whispered.

Damian stayed silent, hurriedly putting on his clothes, while Clara, finished, and quickly left the room without daring to meet Valerie's eyes.

"Baby..." Damian got off the bed, looking at Valerie with fear.

Valerie felt choked, her hands slowly clenched, her ocean-blue eyes finding Damian's slightly sweaty body, making her disgusted imagining it all resulting from his dirty activities with another girl.

"I... I can explain, Honey..."

"I don't need an explanation!" Valerie yelled and slammed her hand on Damian's face.

Bughh...

Damian immediately held his slightly painful cheek.

"If you're not satisfied with just having me, you should have said so from the beginning and not turned our beautiful marriage into this!" Valeri exclaimed breathlessly. "I don't like this... I won't tolerate it..."

"I didn't ask to share love... I and she were just..."

"Just for fun? Just taking advantage of your last single days?" Valerie speculated impatiently, then pushed Damian. "How could you do that? Do you think I can accept you after this? No, I won't accept you!"

"What?" Damian widened his eyes.

"I won't accept a slut like you!"

"Slut?" Damian was shocked, not expecting Valerie to say that.

"I hate you... You're nothing more than a cheap man who doesn't know how to handle one woman... You're stupid! Your wealth means nothing... You'll ruin yourself because of your actions... and we won't get married, we won't!"

Damian remained silent in frustration and guilt. Valerie's words seemed to wake him up.

Hurt, Valerie couldn't bear to continue looking at Damian's face. She quickly ran out of the room, slamming the door loudly.

"Valerie!" Damian immediately chased after her. "What do you mean? You have to come back... We're getting married tomorrow, Remember, we have sent out invitations and everything has been prepared!"

Valerie ignored Damian's shouts.

Samuel peeked out, half of his body from his room, seeing Valerie running towards the elevator while covering her mouth. He followed her before the elevator door closed.

"Valerie!"

"I can't, I can't!" Valerie cried uncontrollably.

Samuel looked at Valerie with despair. "What happened?"

Valerie shook her head, unable to describe the disgusting scene. Her world seemed to collapse, the sweet shadows of her marriage with Damian as the best man in her life vanished, replaced by terrifying shadows she might face if she continued to hold onto it.

"I don't want to, I don't want to get married!"

"What?" Samuel was surprised. "What do you mean?"

"I don't want to marry him, dear God, please help me!" Valerie ran her hands through her hair in frustration, slowly crouching on the floor. She felt weak, her world felt shattered, and dark, not knowing what she would face next, and she couldn't even bear to look at Damian anymore.
