Me:"Well Daisy now that Adam is gone you are free to leave as I am not running a shelter for battered women" without a hint of emotion

Daisy:"What do you mean?!"

Me:"I think it is pretty clear what I mean I pulled from the streets now I am returning you to them what else could I possibly have meant?"

Daisy:"But I thought..." she was on the verge of tears

Me:"Thought that I would just take you back and we could return to how it between us? No Daisy the man that loved you died, you killed him so there is no one to go back to"

Daisy:"Please let me stay I have no place to go I know I was wrong but don't throw me away!"

Me:"Daisy don't try to make me out as the bad guy in all of this, you made your decision when you decided that I wasn't enough" my face was completely neutral

Daisy:"Sebastián please give me another chance I can't ask anyone else your my only hope I'll do anything!"

After she said that a dark smile spread across my face while she continued to beg and sob for me to give her a chance.

Me:"If you are so desperate I could give you an opportunity but remember you said will do anything I hope you don't regret your choice this time as there won't be a next time"

Daisy:"I will be sure to not disappoint you this time!"

I have one of the security guards escort her to room I already had prepared in the hotel before I arrived here with Marie waiting for her to explain her new purpose in life.

After Adam had finally found his way home it didn't take long for him to start drinking and breaking up random things in his house (mostly Daisy's things and things that remind him of her) but half way through tearing up Daisy's clothes he heard the door bell thinking it was her, he went to answer it.

Adam:"So he threw your worthless whore ass out...."

Only to stop mid sentence realizing that the man in front is certainly not Daisy and looked very disdainful at him as if he he forced to handle a very unpleasant task. He was a very plain looking man with easily forgettable features even his suit while upon closer inspection was clearly expensive looked very drab upon him the only exception to all of his blandness was a pin upon his lapel, this pin contained a family crest containing a marmot.

Adam:"Butler Edgar I am so sorry..."

Butler Edgar:"Get in the car the master wants an explanation"

Adam:"Fine just let me freshen up a bit"

Butler Edgar:"You don't have the time the master demands your presence immediately!"

Shortly later Adam was on his knees in a lavish parlor room with ten feet away was a leather easy chair facing the window was a distinguished looking thirty something year old dressed semi-casual clothing and although his face had an impassive expression you could somehow feel how furious he was, this is Charles Whistler.

Charles:"Adam didn't I groom you on how to mingle in our society?"

Adam:"Yes but..."

Charles:"And didn't you beg for the chance to be my apprentice?

Adam:"I did"

Charles:"And haven't I been magnanimous and declared you as such?

Adam:"You have"

Charles:"And do you know why?

Adam:"No sir"

Charles:"I am beginning to wonder myself but at the time it was because of your cool head and your cleverness tool mages aren't high ranking in the association but have slowly over the years raised ourselves up as technology advanced because regular practioners were forced to compete against technology and were steadily losing ground but us tool mages thrived during these times because as technology advances so to did we, which is what forced the association to acknowledge us and finally we get to send a representative of our faction to one of secret auctions to be acknowledged as equals so I sent my best apprentice or so I thought.

Tell me Adam on the night I was going to demand a seat on the council from the association what did you do?"

Adam:"But master it wasn't my fault for some reason I couldn't remain calm it was like something suppressed my logic and reason especially when I saw Sebastián sitting with these women like the one I met before .... THAT'S IT that woman was there with him when I met miss Delru and Ai Wu every time someone important was around him she was always there"

Charles:"Who are you talking about Adam what woman?

Adam:"I don't know who she is but she was always there with Sebastián whenever I see him with an important woman I believe that she is the reason Sebastián has been in contact with all these women he is probably her puppet as she even knew who Daisy is"

Charles:"This is a problem then she is either a witch or an enchantress if she is human if she isn't she probably a demon or a type of trickster creature maybe a fairy but whatever she is regardless stay out of her way I can possibly gloss over your fuck up this time but I won't be able to the next we have too much at stake to handle this now am I understood"

Adam:"Yes master"
