City B's Base

"Miss Xia, see those tall walls? Lookin' domineering aren't they? They were made by a close pal of mine!" An Xia just nodded.

"You're really a pretty woman of few words. Hehe, remember to prepare your materials. You can go down now, you can go in from the right since the sign says ability users have to line up there." While going down from the truck, An Xia quickly moved her spiritual sense inside her dimension. Materials themselves moved as seeds can be seen being put in a cellophane. The cellophane was then tied into a knot and disappeared from the dimension.

Guo Li saw a cellophane full of radish seeds being thrown on the seat where An Xia sat, "Hey! This is too much!"

An Xia didn't listen anymore and continued walking. She now knew the value of all things as per Guo Li's memories. She knew what she gave him was pretty valuable, but he deserved it. She had unlimited supply of it anyway, might as well help the economy of City B's base.

Anyhow, Guo Li was good to her. During these times, people tend to make use of the apocalypse to do evil. He was a good man.

"What can I help you with?" A thin man lazily asked. As he slowly turned his head toward An Xia, his eyes gradually formed into hearts as well.

Such pretty lady! Beauties like her are rare nowadays, they are usually those with scary backgrounds or kept ones. Guess she's being kept by a gold mine, she's definitely not someone who's with that kind of background. He wasn't familiar with her at all.

"I want to register. I'm a dual ability user." The thin man's eyes that were turned into hearts, now bulged out of their sockets. Dual ability users were rare as well!

"I will be using my analysis skill on you as I write your details. Please do show your abilities." The thin man who was lazy earlier immediately became upright and polite. An Xia was pleased.

The thin man clearly saw that An Xia had nothing but now had a seed on her hand. Space ability user! And then, he saw An Xia grow a radish. Earth Element ability user!

Oh my God!! Her two abilities are just as rare as her beauty!!!

The thin man tremblingly held out a card to An Xia with all the necessary details. It was like the identification cards at school where you have to wear it at all times in the base. She looked at it and was impressed at his skills.

It seems that using analysis skills will let people know of other people's biodata such as their names and ages. The skills were asked though so maybe they cannot see other people's abilities.

"Thank you." The same as last time, An Xia got a pack of biscuits from her dimension to give to the man. A packet of biscuits given to strangers were really rare right now, not to mention a pack. The thin man's eyes watered as he hurriedly put it in his bag.

Going inside City B's base, although she already knew the situation, An Xia still breathed a sigh of relief. The dire situation three years ago was now controlled and the bases are now considered a paradise, out of reach from the undead.

As soon as An Xia went inside, she asked a lady carrying her infant child, "This lady, I want to ask some info about the base. Don't worry, I was a lone wanderer before I was able to come here."

As An Xia introduced herself to avoid suspicion, the lady looked at her identification card worn on her neck. Her eyes then examined her beautiful appearance as she answered, "Do ask."

"Thank you, I was just wondering if people are able to immediately do missions right after coming inside the base?" Although she could live off of her space magic having another dimension, it would be too conspicuous.

She wanted to openly live luxuriously and openly show people her strength so as not to be bullied in this cruel world. That is one of her goals aside from giving her scum ex boyfriend his payback.

Being one of a good base's stronghold will give her easy info. No matter if it is finding Pi Yude or her family, others would scramble to give such trivial information to

the strong.

"Ah, a lone wandered indeed. That's common sense to most bases." The lady smiled. "As long as you have your identification card, you can register to the guild of the specific base. If you get registered, you would be eligible to go on missions. Since you are an ability user, you would be able to immediately rise to rank D."

From the info she got, it seems that every base have their own guilds. After registering, you will be assigned your rank.

"Ah, about the ranks. Since ability users obviously have abilities, they are assigned much more troublesome missions with much more generous rewards as a matter of course. That's how ability users are able to immediately climb upto D rank." As An Xia nodded, just like earlier, she gave the woman a medium-sized bag with packs of biscuits and fresh milk for the baby. She used a bag to avoid implicating the two to this starving world.
