-Homurahara Academy-

I decided to visit my former highschool while I was waiting for my restaurant to be renovated.

It's already afternoon and there's hardly anyone here, since most of the students went back to their respective homes.

Although it wasn't that long ago since I graduated, I already missed the academy. Not because of the school itself, but because of the memories I made here.

I went inside the academy, normally a person with no guest card can't go inside the academy due to security reasons, however the guards of the school knew me and they didn't try to stop me from going in.

I strolled around for a bit, and eventually I arrived at the track field and saw someone familiar.

It was my red hair kouhai, I decided to go closer but I paused when I saw her doing high jumps.

She tried and tried, but kept failing to reach the bar that is set on, she tirelessly tried again despite the impossibility of the task.

I couldn't stop watching, there was someone mesmerizing about this scene.

Yes…I think I know.

"Damn, her tits keep bouncing." I couldn't help but say, as I stared at her impressive breasts.

(A/N: No way he'd be a victim like Rin and Sakura, that's way too cliché.)

Despite the show I was lucky enough to witness, I didn't dare to stop her from doing her goal because I'd hate to stop it, because who knows when this kind of golden chance will appear in the future.

After almost an hour, the sky was getting darker.

I saw Shiro succeed in her goal of reaching the bars, despite how impossible it may seem to her.

She was filled with sweat, but looking satisfied at her achievement, honestly this is one of the reasons why I admire her.

Her determination and stubbornness of not giving up, either way. I have to greet her because I really don't want to be labeled as a stalker.

I went forward to her and she noticed me coming over, she looked at me in surprise and said. "Senpai..? It's a surprise to see you here at school."

"Well I decided to visit for a bit, I didn't expect to see you here late at night, doing high jumps." I replied to her with a smile.

Hearing that, she became flustered for a bit and said, "Y-you saw that?"

"Yeah, it was amazing. You didn't give up until you reached it, honestly it was inspiring." I said with honesty.

Shiro became more flustered at that. "O-oh, it wasn't a big deal."

If it's anyone else I would have thought that they're faking it, but in her case she's no dumb and genuine with her reply and doesn't really see it as a big deal.

"It is, just accept the compliment."

I went closer to her, then suddenly she took a step back when I approached her, making me confused and a bit hurt.

With a flustered look, she quickly explained as she noticed my expression. "Please don't get closer to me, I'm sweating and smell bad."

Oh, that's why she's moving away because she's embarrassed, who knew that she has a side like this.

Either way, it's completely unnecessary because…

"You don't smell bad at all."

Which isn't a lie, in fact she smells really good. I don't know what conditioners she uses but her sweat smells like roses.

Instead of making her calm down, my words seemed to make her more embarrassed than already is.

"I-i'm going to take a shower! I'll be right back real quick!" With that, she dashed at the female locker room.

I don't really see the big deal, she doesn't smell that bad, girls really tend to overreact in some unnecessary things.

It didn't take long for her to finish taking a shower, she's now wearing her iconic white sweater with some blue stripes on it.

Although, I feel sorry for the zippers because they're really struggling to contain the beast that was her breast from bursting.

Now that she finished showing, she approached me and said. "S-sorry about that senpai, it took me a while to finish.."

Looking at her pink cheeks, I let out a chuckle and replied. "No, it's no big deal. Say, do you want me to tag along with you until you get home? It's already night and lately I've heard about missing persons, I'm a bit worried about you getting kidnapped."

"E-eh, do you have to worry about me, I can handle myself just fine.."

"That's exactly what makes me feel worried…"

In the end I somehow managed to convince, thankfully.

On their way back to her home, it was really quiet to the point that it felt awkward. I could handle the atmosphere anymore and decided to talk about random topics.

"So, how was your day?"

Shiro blinked and replied. "It was fine, what about you senpai?"

I thought about my day and answered. "It could have been worse."

"Eh, what does that mean?" She tilted her head in confusion.

"Well…for starters Matou visited my restaurant earlier."

"Which one? Shinji or Sakura?" Shiro said.

Oh right, it's easy to forget that Sakura is Shinji's sister, there's literally no similarities between the two of them.

From appearance to personality, they're just different.

That gentle and soft spoken girl is that arrogant bitch sister who is rather hard to believe.

"It's Shinji, I wonder how she knows where my restaurant is, because I definitely don't remember telling her about it." I couldn't help but realize that.

Suddenly my companion became embarrassed and said, "Oh, it was me who told her about it."

My eyes widened and said. "Why though? You know that I can't stand her right?"

Shiro looked away guilty as she replied. "She said she wanted to say something important to you, plus she's a friend. I can't exactly refuse her."

I let out a sigh and said. "First of all nothing she said was important, and second why are you even friends with her anyway? You two are the polar opposite with each other, there's hardly anything that the two of you could have an agreement with, so how did you become friends even..?"

Truly a mystery.

Shiro let out a regretful sigh. "She wasn't always like this, she was way different back in middle school."

"Really I can't imagine."

"Well…I don't know what happened to her, she just became like…"

I know what she's trying to imply and finished it for her. "A bitch."

"No! She's-"

"Look, there's no denying it, don't try and defend her, she's not the person you knew back in middle school anymore, let me be honest with you. She's not your friend, she was very clear that she hates you." I said while remembering my prior conversation with Shinji just a few hours ago.

Shiro looked stunned. "She hates me?"

"Wait you don't know-?"

"No…?"

I couldn't stop myself from looking at this girl in astonishment, I know she's socially dense but what the hell is this?

Shaking my head, I said. "You know, let's forget about this conversation and change to another topic."

"But-"

Before she could say anything, suddenly someone called us from behind.

"Oi! Akihiko-kun! Shiro-chan!"

Both of us looked back and saw Fujimaru-sensei, waving at us while riding her scooter.

"Fuji-nee?" Shiro tilted her head at Fujimaru-sensei.

As the short hair brunette got closer, I saw a sly look on her face as she said. "Did I interrupt your date?"

Hearing that Shiro became flustered and I wasn't unaffected either.

"What-?! No! We aren't on a date! Akihiko-senpai just wanted to help me safely get home!"

I nodded in agreement, this wasn't a date, as much as I wanted it to be. I don't think I have a chance with her anyway.

However the tiger woman didn't seem to believe us and smiled knowingly as if she understood. "Hmm! Hmm! I understand, you don't want anyone to know about it huh?"

"Fuji-nee you're completely off the mark…we're not….umm.." Shiro looks at me with an awkward smile.

I wasn't sure what she's trying to tell me, and I just nodded and told her guardian. "Fujimaru-sensei, we are not on a date. I'm just here to help her get home safely as you know there's a lot of kidnapping nowadays."

Thankfully she got that message.

"So.. you're not on a date?"

"No."

"Are you sure?"

"Absolutely."

After that confirmation, she pouted childishly. "Boriiing~!"

Oi, act like your age you irresponsible adult!

I can't believe this woman is a teacher, life is really mysterious, how she became one is lost to me.

"Anyway, since your guardian is here. I think it's time for me to go, I'll see you soon?" I said and was about to leave, but suddenly. Shiro grabbed my hand, surprising me.

"Wait!"

I look at her with wide eyes feeling the warmth of her hand. "Yes..?"

"Umm…" Shiro looked surprised at herself and suddenly became flustered.

"R-right! Dinner! I will cook dinner for you, it's only fair because you helped me!"

I wasn't sure what to do right now, mainly because I'm confused by this unexpected development.

But, to me her words right now sound like an excuse for me to stay, this might sound pretentious but…do she actually like me?

Shaking the thoughts out of my head, I decided to accept it. "Alright, I guess I'll stay."

Shiro beamed and said. "You won't regret this!"

That's a given, because her meals never disappoint me.

Behind us was Taiga who looked shocked at this unexpected development, she couldn't help but think after witnessing the act Shiro did. 'No way! She invited someone, a man. To her house to cook dinner for him! Does she even know the implications of what she did?!'

As someone who has known her since childhood. Taiga could confidently tell her little sister but in blood has no clue of what she just did.

However, this means that Shiro, who literally had no interest in romance, is feeling something.

It wasn't much but it's a progress.

For now, she will see how this goes.

A/N: I'm not sure what to think about this chapter, I feel like this is a mistake but I don't want to rewrite the entire thing either, oh well.

Support me on P@.treon, even if it's just for a month I'd be really grateful.
