Renewed Eclipse

Light and dark. Day and night. One against another. This was my history. But then I met him. Everything change. We are on two different sides of a war. But maybe its time that the moon and sun are join. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~\~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Solaria. Short for solar system, if you're from the milky way galaxy. Anyway, Solaria is found in this Celestial Galaxy. The two are exactly the same, like doppelgangers, but there is a slight difference- living things are everywhere. There are ten kingdoms. The Moon kingdom, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Earth, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and finally the Sun Kingdom. Since forever the Sun and Moon kingdom were at war with each other. They were total opposites. The Moon kingdom was always Winter while the Sun Kingdom was always Summer. One was dark while one was light. Never to touch. Until me. Welcome to Solarian Academy

Chapter 4

" What are we going to do when we're there? ", I asked curious on what my siblings had in mind.

" Not sure ", Aries replied with a shrug, looking at the trees we passed by.

Aries was hard to understand. He sometimes pass as serious but could be really childish at times. He looked nothing like my parents instead he looked a lot like my mother's brothers. He has a slender face, thin lips like mom, straight nose like dad and that's all he has in common with them. His sharp brown eyes were always on his phone and his honey brown hair had some blonde streaks that was always lying on his forhead in large curls. His olive skin was glowing in the sunlight.

He has a lean but muscular body and broad shoulders. He's in good shape from practising swordsplay from since he was ten though he do prefer knives. He towered over the entire family except dad with his 6'3 height and can be quite intimidating when he wants to. But gosh was he annoying. It's like a 12 year old in a 24 year old's body. But girls like him or so he says but in my opinion it's all in his head.

" I hope I don't have to share a room with you too ", Ember voice pierces my thoughts cutting them short.

My head snapped in her direction and I looked at her incredulously.

" SERIOUSLY? I understand him but me? ", I said pointing at Aries.

Ember was the youngest. Approximately 1 year younger, well not exactly 1 year smaller but she did born the year after me. Ember is the pretty one with her big hazel  doe eyes and long lashes. Her small, heartshape face was smooth and she has mom's cute little button nose. Her slightly wavy blonde hair was resting in a bun on her head. A few strands escaped from her bun and curled around her face. Her rosy full lips were in a line as she concentrated on whatever she was drawing.

She was so beautiful and I look like a bag of potatoes compared to her. Don't get me wrong I'm not saying that I'm ugly but sometimes I- ugh never mind.  She was just an inch shorter than me and skinnier.

" Hey! What's that supposed to mean? ", he said angrily running a hand through his hair.

I rolled my eyes and ignored him, fed up with his antics. I looked down and examined the pen in my hand. The whole thing was made of clear crystal like my necklace and it wrote gold ink. It had a sun pendant at the top, made out of a green crystal which I presume is peridot, my birth stone.

It was something you could look at for hours and still can't tell all the details.

An enchanted item I supposed. Though enchanted for what? I'm not sure. Most enchanted items were hard to find, made of a special jewels. So I guess it could be a fake and just has the looks of an enchanted item. But it was digging at my curiosity. I'll have to ask mom whenever we visit.

I opened the journal and began to write,

2nd day of travel                       20/02/20

Home. Somewhere I'm not sure of

I thought it was where my family was

But things kept changing

Confusing everything I've known

Can you feel my heart shaking

Like a piece of thread that was sown

Lights flash before your eyes

But you can't hear their cries

For something new

For something they can hold

Something they can own

And call mine

Blood the colour of gold

Things left untold

Sweat making their shirt wet

When will things set

Tears running down their cheeks

Sniffles, trying to be meek

All these things in side my head

Things should be left unsaid

It's so confusing

Some may think it's amusing

All I want to do is turn and lock

And ignore the thicking clock

But I can't throw the key

Because it's apart of me

And I can't let it be.

Bloody Hell. How long is this ride? I've been in this bloody carriage for the past 10 hours and we are not here yet. How far away is this school? All I've seen was trees. Trees. I'm beyond bored. And my butt is hurting. Ughhhh. All I want to do is sleep. On a bed. Though I slept in the carriage, it is not the same. I'm still tired.

I'm sure I look like I've been to hell and back. And one thing you should know. Sleep is my life. You don't want to meet me when I'm sleep deprived. You've got to be really brave to talk to me in this state. And my siblings know not to trouble me when I'm like this.

Closing my eyes, I shook my head a little, opening my mouth to ask if we were there. But before I could say anything, my breath hitched in my mouth. I can't believe what I was seeing.

I rubbed my eyes to see if I was hallucinating. Nope. It's real.

At the sides of the road was flowers. Lots and lots of flowers. Roses. Tulips. Daisies. And a lot more. There was so many that I couldn't name all. All were leading to the end of the road where there was a big golden gate surrounded by thorns.

Fences made of crystals were on both sides of the gate, going on to who knows where. Blood red roses were wrap around the clear crystals, the green of their stem showing.

Everything looked beyond beautiful but deadly at the same time. Like a warning. And I love every ounce of it. My parents did well with the gates. But is the academy the same?

I heard a gasp to my right and my head snapped towards my sister, whose eyes were staring ahead with wonder in it. I slowly looked to the front and my mind went blank. I guess I spoke to soon, cause nothing could've prepared me for Solarian Academy.
