Final Father Daughter Trip

Within a slightly darkened and rocky environment, two people were dressed up in ordinary travelling clothes with hats on their heads and a pair of large fake glasses.

They were Kimi and her father who were journeying through Mount Moon to get to their original destination and there were some things that needed to be accomplished along the way.

Wild Clefairy, fossils and moon stones were the most known to be found in the area and attracted many people from all walks of life.

It was one of the places that Brock of the Pewder Gym often visited to search for fossils and where some of his own Pokémon could be caught.

Kimi continued walking until a Clefairy walked in her path which was followed by Growlithe jumping forward to protect Kimi. "Growlithe!"

The Clefairy was startled and ran away down a small and narrow path then disappeared from sight.

Seeing that there was no obstruction, the father and daughter continued on their way while being followed by a Growlithe, Espeon and a Kabuto.

Espeon stopped and her fur started to stand up a little while her tail moved from side to side as if she sensed something bad was about to happen.

Kimi paused for a moment and shut her eyes as if she was concentrating deeply.

The moment that she had opened her eyes, the surroundings had started to change so she backed off and pulled her father back with her.

The stone walls and ceiling started to move which was a strange sight then the true form came into their view. "Onix!"

Kimi spoke to her father. "This should be a good test of what you can do right?"

Her father nodded with a determined look on his face. "Go Kabuto."

The surroundings were shaken up and the rocks around had been loosened so they started to fall from the ceiling as a result of the Onix moving around and affecting the surroundings.

Kimi pushed her father to avoid the falling rocks while she had trusted in the abilities of Growlithe.

Espeon stood in place and the red jewel on her head glowed as the psychic energy gathered. "Espeon!"

A confusion move was released which sent a wave of psychic energy towards the falling rocks that had passed through them.

A couple of the rocks were blown closer to the Onix but it did not seem that bothered as they hit it.

A rock had landed on Kabuto which caused it a light injury while Growlithe jumped around to avoid the falling rocks as Kimi aided her through their connection using aura. "Growlithe!"

The tough shell let Kabuto endure the damage as it awaited its orders from its master.

Kimi's father shouted to Kabuto. "Absorb!"

The Kabuto was confirmed to be at level sixteen once it had been removed from its fossilised state so it was able to harm the Onix opposite it which seemed to be quite powerful.

The nutrient draining attack that was absorb helped Kabuto to regain a small portion of its health back after it had been injured thanks to the half of the attack damage it had dealt to the Onix.

The Onix was previously just disrupting the surroundings to warn off intruders but upon being attacked, it had become enraged and let out a roar.

The types of attacks which were critical to Onix just so happened to be absorb which was a grass type but the attack did not end there.

Not giving Onix another opportunity, her father had shouted. "Aqua Jet now!!"

Kabuto had become surrounded in water as it lunged towards the Onix which was much bigger than it with a speed that made it almost invisible.

Onix was much too big and slow to respond in time before it had been hit, it suffered a large amount of pain once again as the water type attack had been just as effective as the grass type.

The hard shell of Kabuto which had undergone hardening during the walk had built up its strong defences to aid in making its body even tougher.

Once it had collided with the Onix, it was knocked down and had fainted which was followed by Kimi throwing a Pokéball towards it.

The Pokéball blinked a little until it showed that it had been caught. "Phew.. that was not bad!"

If the Onix was not dealt with quickly then it could have caused further destruction and possibly caused the area to be blocked off from the walls or ceiling caving in.

Kimi was just glad that the Onix was very weak to the moves used by Kabuto so it had been dealt with quickly before it caused any manor destruction.

They did not stick around where they were for long as they had moved deeper into Mount Moon.

It was the perfect place for her father to train Kabuto where there were some rock types around and where they could spend a little more time together before Kimi had moved on to another location after he had gotten settled down.

Compared to the Onix which they encountered only once, they came across Geodude a lot more often.

The same tactics were used each time so that the damage could be healed back up then they were quickly finished off with Aqua Jet.

Just like the Onix, each of the Geodude had fallen quickly to the same combination of moves then were captured.

Even if Kimi was relaxing and had another goal within Mount Moon, she could not let go of the other missions that would provide her with additional rewards.

Every little Pokédollar would be needed to start up the various plans she had and to get her father settled down.

Meanwhile she would need additional Pokédollars so that she could fund her travels and the growth of her Pokémon from both teams.

Kimi saw something ahead which was a Clefairy once again, it seemed like it was the same one as before due to her sensing the same aura. 'Is it going to run again?'
