Evan slowly walked, choosing the path from her memories. She had crossed this path many times. She had seen it from the window and enjoyed it. Right, it is not that difficult. She could do it. Except.. She could not!
She sighed and stopped. Her swollen feet felt like lead and walking after two hours was not as easy as it was in the beginning. In the start, she was full of determination. But now that her adrenaline rush had slowed down, she knew that she needed a carriage or a horse to cover the rest of the journey. Perhaps, she could find something in the town.
She stopped when she had reached the market. Looking for a job where she could earn enough to afford a common carriage.
"Lady, would you like to check our collection of dresses. It is beat in the town." a man offered with a sweet smile on his face when she took a step back.
