Remind of Us

"Don't say anything, Mama. I'm feeling so disappointed with you two here," I said as I looked away and tears started to form in my eyes.

She tilted her head as she looked at me.

"Alright, babe. So your father and I apologize for our actions last night and we'll make sure it never happens again. But honestly, we didn't expect that you'd be late at the sea too, and we really didn't plan on walking that far actually. But  I guess maybe we kind of lost track of where we were going," My mother said.

My father got up from his seat and walked over to me as my mother walked out of the kitchen.

"I see what's going on here," He said.

"My princess had her head over heels for Yuan Shuai," My father said as he nodded with himself.

I wiped a tear that fell from my eye.

"Come to me, Princess. I'm sorry for being so ignorant last night," My father said as he wrapped his arms around me and kissed me on the head.
