A Mothers Fury (6)

The sound of footsteps startled her slightly. She looked around and hid her small body in a left behind crate of vegetables.

Zhi Yue walked past her heading into Master Zhi's study.

Hui Mian jumped from the crate either items still in her mouth and dashed out of the large mansion running full speed towards the gate. She jumped up and cleared the gate landing in front of Shi Rong with the items in her mouth.

Shi Rong grabbed the items from her mouth and smiled. "So we pose as the Zhi family and send letters to their cultivation friends."

Hui Mian nodded her small head wiggling her ears in the process. "Let us not talk about it here."

Shi Rong brought them both back inside of the Heavenly Pavilion.

Hui Mian transformed into back into her human form cradling the papers and seal in her hand. She smiled wickedly from ear to ear. "We shall use the information from that piece of paper to match his handwriting and send false letters from the Zhi family to all of their powerful cultivation friends trash talking them making it seem the letter was for another, sealing it with the Zhi family crest to prove its authenticity."

Shi Rong smiled. "That will take care of one problem. Who shall we get to forge the writing?"

Quijie stepped forward. "I will please proceed towards the residences listed here on this list within Shui City I will have their letters ready by then, as for the ones who reside outside the city we shall hire a messenger to send them out. With your current disguise it should be simple and easy."

Shi Rong nodded and disappeared once more reappearing outside the Zhi family gate. She glanced around and proceeded down the street with the paper in tow towards the nearest house on the list which was the Wu estate, Zhi Yue's fiance.

She reached the large extravagant mansion in under ten minutes. A white envelope fluttered from above her head with a red seal enclosing its contents. She ducked and creeped past the guard slipping into the garden towards the side of the house. She crept through the bushes towards what appeared to be a back door.

Shi Rong opened the door and crept into the house silencing her movements as she tipped toed towards a solid black door, which was slightly cracked revealing a large noble office. She smiled as she slipped into the office placing the sealed envelope on the table, slipping out the door and out the gate the same way she came in.

The cold night air ruffled her white robes and hair as she elegantly walked down the street towards her next destination. Her skin shivered from the breeze but she kept warm from the satisfaction of knowing the Zhi family will soon be falling from grace ultimately slipping into her hands for her to finally crush them.
