As they proceeded into the utrasound room, Anna wondered if Noah had planned or arranged something with the doctor to keep decieving his parents. He hasn't said a word to her, neither act like they had both lied. He was by her side, his hands entwined to hers as they walked.
She watched him beinf her fingers to his mouth as he placed sweet kisses on them occasionally. Anna wanted a clue, she wanted to know something, but Noah wasn't giving her any answer. The numerous questions running through her mind were all at the tips of her tongue, but the people walking with them made her swallow her question. There's no way Evelyn will not hear her questions even if she was to ask.
Inside, the walls were painted in calming shades of blue, with a large screen mounted on the wall beside a comfortable-looking bed. Their doctor, the small man smiled warmly as they stepped in.
