It was the final act of the night and Anna was more than ready to do it according to plan. She raised her hands to a waiter and whispered something in his ears and then he left. Noah who saw the strange movement and body language between his assistant and his wife narrowed his eyes. The scheming man stared at them suspicious as he tried to put two or two together but he couldn't come up with anything.
"Is everything okay?" Noah asked to see her nod. She gave a reassuring smile and turned back to Lola. She nodded too, confusing Noah even more. He couldn't tell what was going on, even his family looked so lost with everything going on.
The waiter Anna called returned with what she had asked for. Whatever it was was wrapped with a black piece of clothes. Anna picked a glass and a small spoon and clicked on it, to gain everyone's attention.
