Noah left both girls in fury, he walked through the quiet halls taking a different route away from where eyes could see him. As he walked, he threw the huge stick aside and removed his mask. He clenched his hands into a fist as he walked.
Noah was yet to believe what his sister and her friend had tried to do to him today. He will never let it slide. Beth has threatened to harm his wife and from what he knows of that silly sister of his, she always keeps her words. Thinking about everything she said made him angrier that he clenched his teeth together.
The hall he walked through was dark and quiet, a few maids walked past him, each staring at him as they walked. Not just anyone walked through this hall because it led to the kings chambers. Noah hadn't informed anyone, else they would never let him go through. It isn't always easy to see the king, but he knew his way around so he knows how to avoid the guards and get his deeds done.
