Marie's POV

"Make sure she is comfortable in your arms." She said as she handed over my pup.

I stared down at my sleeping pup, I knew she was alive but she wasn't healthy from how pale she looked.

The uniform woman squatted down to the ground, she looked around as though she was looking for something, she tugged the rug that was steepled on the floorboard of her apartment.

I watched as she struggled. A hatch door unveiled itself from underneath where the rug was.

"What is this?." I asked myself.

I stared in awe at what she was doing, she dragged on the rope that was tick and visible to the eyes of people.

As she opened the hatch door, stairs were unveiled.

I was led down to an underground luxurious house that shook me off balance.

"She is gonna kill us down here and no one is going to come searching for us, little Miss Adventurer."
