Prologue - Betrayal

In the world where magic and sorcery existed , there also existed Werewolves , dire wolves also wizards who could use magic to fight . There also existed demons along with humans and all kinds of monsters along with goblins .

In the human world , everyone was at peace .

One day , in the morning . Lisana , an eighteen year old girl was going to a part time job where she was hired , her family was poor so she had to work after she had lost her previous job she was depressed . That morning , she had a lot of quarrel with her mom because her mom didn't wanted her to do this job because it was doing modeling for a company where she might have to wear indecent clothes .

Lisana wanted to support her family but her mom didn't wanted to do this , Lisana goes out of the room after fighting a lot . She was careless enough to walk by the side of the road without looking at the traffic . It was at that time , she felt as if someone was calling out to her . Still she crosses the road carelessly without looking at the traffic . Suddenly , a car had hit her and she fell down .

'' MOM '' was the final words she could utter , she fell down by the side of the road . All the crowds gathered in an instant . She died there . When she lost consciousness , she felt the world cold and dark , she was beginning to lose all warmth , right at the moment she felt as if someone was summoning her . She could hear all the words chanting in her mind .

'' I hope the summon this time won't fail , '' whispers one voice . '' You always fail most of the time but this time we have to succeed '' another voice says . '' Otherwise the almighty Demon king will destroy our race , we can't let that happen '' another voice says with fear . '' Who's the Demon king ? who are these people ? what happened to me ? i had died right ? '' these thoughts filled her mind .

'' The summon is ready now , let';s give her the memories from this birth and erase the memories from the previous birth '' another voice says . '' No wait what are you doing don't erase my memories , of my family , my mom '' she cries out but no one could hear her voice . '' Great now , she will act as a vessel for our purpose to defeat the demon king and save our race , forgive our people mortal , we have to do this to save our lives ''' a voice says filled with all grief .

'' No need to become so emotional , let the body be summoned , the soul has come come too '' says another voice . '' May you be blessed with the spirit of the wolf and ice and do good to the people who exist and help your comrades now '' says a voice . '' Now , be bron into this life '' the voice said . '' Wait what are you doing to me ? what happened to my parents ? '' she screamed .

Suddenly , when she regained her consciousness she found herself in a different place than before . The place was a cave a dark one , where little bit of rays of light was falling down onto her face . '' Who .... am .... i ? where did i came from ? what ... is this place ''' she mutters . She tries to get up , she feels her whole body was hurting . Still she tries to get up . It was an ice cave filled with ice which could reflect images also . '' So cold ''' she whispered . When she got up , she notices her image on the ice .

''' W-what is this ? a wolf ? what's wrong with these nails ? these fur ? this look ? '' she freaks out , noticing her new body . Her whole body was covered with white fur and blue eyes along with long nails . '' This is the body of a wolf ? '' she mutters . '' Why do i feel like this body doesn't belong to me ? '' she thoughts . '' Why do i feel that these hands aren't mine ? '' she thought . '' I feel as if .... i was something else .... ... like ... a ... human ... wait human what's that ? '' she thought .

'' I should get out of here '' she thought trying to find her way out . She looked for the end of the cave , the uneven suface was not a problem to her . Eventually she found her way out . She could hear some noises outside . '' What's all the noise are there many people like me ? '' she murmurs . When she goes out , she saw that there were many wolves there . All the wolves there are black ones . They all notice her . One of them approaches her it was a grey wolf with long fur .

'' I see you have appeared newbie , come you must join us '' it says . '' For what ? and why do i look different than you ? '' she asks . '' Cause , we have summoned you here to save us '' say the wolf . '' Save ? '' she mutters . She goes near them . Among the wolves one with a huge body appears , though it was no less big than her . '' I am the leader of the wolves and of higher rank than them an Beta , the reason i have summoned you here , do you know what kind of a world it is ? '' it asks .

'' No , i just arrived here '' she replies . '' This is the world where many mythical beings exist , werewolves , magicians , wizards , monsters , demons and also the horrifying monsters , this is the world of the fittest whoever is powerful enough can survive only and the reason that we have summoned here is ... the strongest of us all is the Demon king , he's killing all other races and wants to gain supreme control of all other races he has eradicated many of us werewolves too now this is our last generation , we had summoned you from the other world so you can save us '' it says .

'' Save ? but how ? '' asks she . '' You are the only one who can save us , cause you are a dire wolf , much more higher than us werewolves with a white fur different from us , you are the ice wielder who can fight with the demon king on equal terms , so we have only one request for you Lisana , please save our tribe '' say the wolf . '' But .... can i really defeat him ? '' she asks . '' Yes , you can , you are the only one , we ar e depending on you to save our race , we have assembled a team to fight the demon king but we can't win without you , please help us '' it begs .

'' I ... will help you ... '' she agrees to help . '' Please we can't be much more greateful than you , thank you for helping our comrades '' it bows it's head . '' I want to help you all ... if i can be of your help then '' she replies . '' The Demon king's army will be approaching us in two days till then you can hone your skills here '' says the wolf . '' Thank you all '' she replies .

From that day they all trained together till the tragic day came . After two days came the Demon kings army .It was a cloudy day , full of fogg and mist as if the place was covered in a dreamy forest . The entire pack was alerted by this . The bigger wolf was the one giving all the instructions . All the wolves have arrived . '' The enemy is approaching really fast , we need to stand against them all people assemble where is Lisana ? '' the big wolf calls .

'' HERE i am ''' says Lisana . '' All the forces will reach in a short while you need to stand on the front lines ,let's go '' it says . '' Alright , then you all will stay behind right ? '' Lisana asks . '' Yes , we will assist you from behind '' says the big wolf . '' Now go stand on all of your positions '' it shouts . Suddenly a trumpet rings , '' the demon lord has arrived '' .

The whole forest is surrounded by the army of demon king , demons and monsters and everything else . '' What will we do now ? '' asks one wolf . '' Go Lisana stand in front of the demon king go you must win '' the big wolf shouts . '' Count on me '' Lisana says . The moment when she stepped out of the forest her leg was hurt . '' This seems like an ominous sign '' she thought '' but i have to win anyway '' .

She goes and stands in front of the demon king. '' Are you the Demon king ? '' she asks with a loud voice . '' Yes i am the Demon king , who are you ? '' a man with a gruff voice asks , he was a man with a big body compared to them and he was walking on two feets . '' I am .. Lisana '' she replies . '' You seem lie a dire wolf i see '' he recons . '' Go now Lisana '' shouts the big wolf from behind . '' I have come here to defeat you you will die today ''' says she with anger .

'' Huh what are you talking about ignorant ? '' he asks . '' We have presented you with the sacrifice please save our people lord , she's the dire wolf please take her '' says the big wolf from behind . '' What are you talking about ? '' asks Lisana . '' You were very much foolish enough to trust that woman '' he laughs . '' You will make a nice feast for me to enjoy '' he comments . '' What do you mean? what is he saying say something leader ? ''' Lisana shouts .

'' You have been brought here to become a sacrifice for us , or else why would we summon us ? '' says the big wolf . '' What '' Lisana was shocked . '' Go take her '' says the big wolf . '' So i have been betrayed ? '' LISANa asks . '' Yes you are little lady '' replies the Demon king . '' Let me enjoy the feast '' he says . '' I won't back out i will defeat you '' says Lisana taking her stance . '' Let's see how much energy you have bring it on '' say the demon king .

'' Die ''; Lisana howls at him and attacks pouncing on him . '' YOU have some fine spirit there but that won't be enough '' the demon king says . In a couple of minutes he had enough of playing with her . '' I am bored '' says he and slashes her body with his hand . She fell down . '' Enough yet ?> '' she asks . '' No , i won't get up '' she says and gets up again . Blood started to run down on her body . She was bleeding profusely . She attacks again this time she was able to scratch him . '' Now i am mad , don't want to see him again '' he says and strikes her .

She fell down the blow was in her stomach , she was bleeding too much her legs were injured too . '' I ... i '' she became unconscious . '' Will you go now ? '' asks the big wolf . The demon king starts laughing . '' What did you thought ? if only you give me the dire wolf i will let you all go ? what are you all a fool ? '' says the demon king . '' Then what you had promised us was all a lie ? '' the big wolf says . '' Yes of course , you people surround them and kill them , not any of them can survive '' the demon king announces ''' this is a hunt '' .

They all cheer in laughter . '' No you can't do this '' the big wolf shouts . '' You should never believe in what i say ... now you gotta pay you strongest sacrifice is gonna die soon now you all too wil die ''' demon king says . '' No '' they all cry out . '' Not any of you will stay alive the wolf pack will go instinct in one day '' the king says . Lisana is unconscious and all the wolves are all slaughtered and murdered there the whole forest was covered with blood . After all the deeds were done the demon king says '' let this one die by herself , sooner or later someone will eat her up '' he says then their forces leaves .

The whole place was covered with blood . The moment when she regained consciousness she saw that around her her everyone was gone , '' they had eaten all of them ? oh god i can't move ''' . '' Why dd they had to do this to me ? everyone had died , why this always happens to me ? will i die like this ? ... i am feeling so cold .... i am losing all the warmth '' .There formed a pool of blood around her . She fell unconscious again .
