The Limit

I am currently resting on my bed while Rose was massaging my head.

You might be wandering how it all came to this, and for that we muct go back 2 hours ago.

"Bell i'm home!"

When i heard Rose call, i sprinted to her with all my might.

Today was a special day since i would be completing the evolution quest of 'hunger'.

Evolving 'hunger' wont give me gluttony, but every tower was build floor by floor, there is no reason to rush things.

"Rose, let me cook."

After i said that i didn't wait for her and satrted working on the ingredients.

Funny enought, the evolution mission for 'hunger' is to eat something at least 15 levels highter than yourself, this might have been a difficult mission if i wasn't level 0.

Anyway, i am almost done cooking.

The evolution of the 'cooking' skill is 'magic cooking', after i got it i couldn't level it up at all since it needs mana filled ingredients together with rare monster meat to use. Although i couldn't use any of the new knowledge, the evolution made me even better at basic cooking.

'Cleaning' also evolved into 'clean' which is a spell, now i only have to cast it and everything i want will be cleaned up in a matter of seconds. It's alwready very good but if i were to get water magic then it would probably be able to clean in a handful of minutes.

I hastily made the table and practically forced Rose to sit.

Originally she refused to eat with me since she is a maid and all, but i pulled out my puppy dog eyes and she gave up.

Then i took the first bite.

If the things that my goddess told me are correct then this is the last step before gluttony.

Even if it wasn't i would have any problem since it's a good skill on it's own.

Especially digestion quality, if i remember correctly in my last life it was found that more than 40% of the food we eat didn't get digested properly wasting a lot of vitamins.

This will also be useful with potions.

Anyway i want to try something new today.

This title has been bothering me for some time now.

Acording to what i have seen from the system, breaking the system limit is difficult, but it has happened before while on the other hand getting 10 in everything before the age of 5 has never happened before.

Meaning that the second one has to have a better reward than the first.

The first gave me a unique skill token and 2 points in each attribute for every level up.

While the second gave only 1 point in each attribute for every level up and a title.

As you can see, something doesn't add up.

If i am correct, this would mean that the title is worth even more than the unique skill token and 1 point in each attribute for every level combined.

Thus, after thinking about it for a bit, i equipped it and tried to see more info, but for the first time nothing came up.

Does this mean that i have to figure it out on my own?

Thinking about this i let out a sigh.

"Bell is sothing the mater, is your new skill not good?"

Rose, which i had almost forgotten was here, spoke to me with a soothing voice.

"No, the skill is actualy very good, i am just having problems with the title i was given as a reward"

To this Rose tilted her head.

"Young master you have to know that titles don't have descriptions, but most of the time they do as their name suggest. Since your title is about perfection why not try to max out a skill, or learn all skill for a certain catregory to try it out."

When i heard what she said, i leapt at her, kissed and hugged her tightly.

"Hahaha, my Rose is a genius"

After i said that i hurriedly left to try it out, leaving a tomato colored Rose at the table.

For me it would be far more easier to learn new skill than to max then, so i will try that out first.

I decided to learn all skill that have to to with art, like music painting and so on.

I figured out this would be the fastest category of skills since i already have a lot of them.

So for the next hour i tried to get as many art skills as humanly possible.

I learn dancing and drawing, they are only level 1 but it has only been an hour so it's understandable.

I am currently trying to learn calligraphy.

Anyway i didn't pay attention to it and run to Rose to tell her of the good news.

Then the world went black.

This is how i got here, the new skill "Art" does not only have the skill i had before, but all basic art skill that exist in the world.

The information was so much that it took an hour to even wake up from the coma.

But there is another problem.

"Goddess please talk to me"

I am trying to communicate with Theresia because i fell that my head is stuffed full with things.

"Bell, i know what you are going to ask"

"You have almost reached the limit of what you can currently do with your stats."

"When you learn and upgrade a skill new information will go to you body, mind and soul, meaning that there is indeed a limit to what a person can learn"

"But reaching that limit by simply learing skill is imposible, especially for you since you have very hight starting stats, you would have to learn hundreds of skill for that to happen."

"I was going to tell you this when you passed the unique skill trial for gluttony, but i never expected your title to have such an affect"

"You don't have to worry, by improving your stats your skill limit can be improved"

After taking in such a heave load of information i became silent.

"Now, there are 2 ways to continue, the first is to level up now and get more space for growth and the second is to not do nothing and only train until you get gluttony to maximize your potential"

At this i didn't even hesitate and answered right away.

"I choose option 2, it would be a waste to not do it after so much effort"

"Very well, but you have to not do anything, if you were to level up you new skill even once that would be enough to kill you"

After saying that the connection was cut.

"....."

".....young master are you alright?"

Rose asked me softly.

To this i took a deep breath.

"Rose, from now on i will not move from this bed other than going to the toilet. You will have to bring me a huge amount of food and cook it for me every day until i hit my goal"

"Rose, can you do this for me?"

My tone was flat and i didn't make the puppy dog eyes i usually do, i want to hear her answer without manipulating and ordering her in any way, shape or form.

To my seriouness Rose replied with an easy going smile.

"If i don't do it, who will? Don't worry Bell, something like this that would affect you future is not something i can ignore, it's not even difficult since i just need to hunt weak monsters out in the wild."

After she said this she left the room, probably to get ready for hunting.

I was just staring blankly at the door.

"....haha, that's it Rose, there is now way i am going to let you leave me now"

Having said that, a gentle smile appeared on my face.
