Explanation

"What the hell!" Alex exclaimed as soon as he had heard Lin's reply to Kael's question. His eyes shot wide open and his mouth flagged open in awe.

Kael suddenly started to laugh out loud. He tried to say some words but his laughter choked his words from coming out. Both Lin and Alex stared at him awkwardly as they watched him laugh his lungs out. 

They waited and waited for him to stop his momentary madness but the more they waited, the more it seemed like the boy had been infested with an incurable laughter virus. 

Finally, Kael regained himself from his laughing syndrome and he tried to regain his breathing systematically as he took in shallow breaths. He then heaved a final sigh and he wiped a single tear that had plopped out of his eye.

"Is this scene going to be in a movie or something? What do you mean about past life? Does that even exist?" Were the first words that came out of his mouth after he had recovered from his laughing spree.
