The next morning dawned like any other morning would, shining its light brightly into the room and straining its rays into Kael's face. He squinted his eyes as the ray of the morning light attacked him, making him twitch his eyes sporadically as he tried to stay asleep but his efforts were rendered useless.
"You had better get up now, stop forcing yourself to stay asleep." A voice nagged at him as he still tried to get his sleep by moving away from the rays of the morning light.
"It hasn't been long since I closed my eyes." Kael groaned as he covered his ear with his hand. "Let me sleep for a bit more."
"We have to meet with the academy's principal today, remember? We might start classes today as well. We are not here to sleep!" Alex said again walking toward where Kael was sleeping to drag him out of bed if possible as it seemed Kael had thrown his words under the bed.
