Lights, no camera, a lot of action.

As usual, when we relocate our hideout, because we're hiding from the pigs informants, we do it in a simple manner.

Four vans carry over part of the goods first, escorted by around half of our men. Hundreds of kilos of white powder, or white gold if you had to ask me, all were being transported over from our old place.

(burner is slang for disposable guns for people don't know)

Then, the same vans go back to the old place and get loaded again, this time with the burners we use for trading with other gangs and some supervillains even. The other half of the goons now Boards the vans and starts their relocation, while the first half has set up a impenetrable fortress at the place we pick. Needless to say, if the cops at any point attack us, they would be riddled with holes, courtesy of most gang members being equipped with rifles that can punch through their kevlar.

Who was I, you may ask yourself.

I was known as the Maniac, having earned my nickname after countless survived drug busts and arrest attempts. I was one of the most experienced crooks you could find, known to wield both a shotgun and a fireaxe, hence my nickname after I killed two pigs with the axe.

Currently, It was 11pm and soon the second convoy would arrive, finally signalling the end of our relocation. Right now, in one of the apartments on the topmost floor of the building were the three of us. Me, Ditri and the Viper himself were sitting around a table.

Ditri was a very tall man with a face mask that covered the lower right side of his face, more specifically, the burn scars he recieved long ago. The left side showed a hardened face of war veteren that has seen plenty of action. A former spec ops, this was the ace of our group who was also the one responsible for training the goons, making us far better trained than the average gang.

The viper, a mysterious man with a scar on his blind eye, courtesy of being ambushed by three rival gangs once, yet it stood as a testament of his prowess. After all, he was the only survivor of that ambush. He also was one of the best connected arms dealers in New York, with a vast intelligence network from having bribed countless corrupt pigs.

Needless to say, he was also why our gang was one of the most heavily armed ones among all the small and medium scale gangs.

Together with the training from Ditri and the guns from Viper, we are on par with most medium gangs that have hundreds of crooks in the combat prowess department.

Right now, the boss was looking outside of a window, staring at the moon hanging in the sky, with a lit cigar in his mouth.

Ditri meanwhile was doing maintenance on his shotgun and on his pistol, a slight smile on his face as he hummed a tune.

And i was just sitting in a chair, leaning backwards while taking stock of the goods we had already carried over.

Suddenly, gunshots resounded from the lower floor, and all three of us stopped doing what we were doing. .

"Pigs? But we didn't get warned?" I asked, as I turned to face the boss.

Viper pulled out a pistol, and said with an odd smile "Maybe they decided to rat us out, we'll see soon enough."

As soon as he had said that, even more gunshots resounded from the lower floors.

"Do we go down then? Or do we let the cannon fodder probe the attacker?" I replied.

"Let's wait and see. If its pigs, our guys can handle themselves."

Hearing Viper say that , I stood down and waited for the commotion to die down.

------------------

Arriving near the place where the gang was, i decided to climb the fire stairs to a residential building nearby. Finally, I started inspecting it carefully.

Looking at the abandoned building where the two kids were hiding today, that now had 20 odd men placed around different corners keeping watch, I felt a surge of excitement rush through my entire body.

The black skull mask on my face, with my Super Redhawk, Model 29 and Anaconda all loaded. The Redhawk and the Anaconda were in my hands, while the Model 29 was holstered in my ankle holster.

As for why I picked the Redhawk and the Anaconda, I wanted to try the Anaconda that I had recently gotten.

Having made up my mind, I tried memorising the pattern of the trained goons. Inspecting the cubical 4 floor building, I saw the rough locations of different guards, and their patrol patterns. Seeing that the pattern repeated multiple times, I was certain they wouldn't change it.

Having scouted the place, I made my way back down, deciding to approach the hideout from the shadows of this building. The main reason being that I only had to keep track of one person on the upper floors.

If I get in, it's as good as over. But that's also the most dangerous part. If I get spotted without cover it could prove fatal...

Suddenly, the one man who was keeping watch at the window turned around for some reason or another, probably called by one of his accomplices.

Breathe in...

As I slowly felt the tension build into my body, I released it all the next second while breaking into a mad dash.

Like a ghost, I started running towards the broken window closest to me. Not looking back at anyone or anything, I directly jumped towards the window that was at the height of a man. Yet with my enhanced strength, I was only slightly off from the getting in with one jump, so using my hands while still flying towards the window, I managed to pull my body up.

Sliding on the floor having succeeded in that jump and needing to land, I heard the sound of footsteps approaching the room I was inside of.

Preaiming my Redhawk at the door, I heard one of the goons say something, yet it didn't matter in the slightest to overexcited me, so I didn't even bother listening. With adrenaline coursing throughout my entire body, I jumped out of the room, directly into the corridor.

"Did you hear that Robbie? I think it came from he-"

BANG!

Robbie, who was about to light his cigarette, dropped it to the floor as he saw the head of the person in front of him explode into a red mist. And in the next instant there was a gun in front of his face. Trying to react, he tried dodging to the side while aiming his AK at the attacker.

Yet it was too late.

BANG!

"Two down, some more to go! ~" feeling the stat boost that started becoming active from the <Deadeye II> upgrade, the World itself seemed to have become a tad bit slower. I started moving like greased lightning towards the next source of sounds.

The mostly empty corridor with the peeling paint, the cracked doors that barely hung on the hinges turned into a blur. As I ran over the cracked tiles I was approaching the intersection with noise.

Rushing around a corner, I saw four crooks heading here aiming their guns, a glock and 3 Rifles that I didn't recognise.

<Focus >

BANG!

BANG!

The first shot connected with the first head in line, sending blood and brain matter splattering onto the others, the second one blew a hole through the chest of another crook. One rifleman and the guy with a glock had been removed.

Turning off <Focus > with only half a second having passed, I retreated back behind the wall, as suddenly gunshots and screams resounded from the two still living men. The bullets left trails as they impacted the walls on the other side, and some even pierced through the wall I had been hiding at.

Running into the room next to that, I reloaded the both the Redhawk and Anaconda. Counting the time I still had 13 odd seconds of Deadeyes massive stat bonus, that was currently at 20%. Keeping that in mind, I opened fire at the wall, shot after shot hitting the same spot, finally blasting a hole through with the third shot.

And after the another fourth shot, a scream resounded from the other side of the wall, and I maxed out my stat boost at 25%. I moved 25% faster, time itself seemed that much slower, and I felt like an angel of death, sent to this world to purge corruption and evil.

Rushing outside with endless excitement in my eyes, instead of finishing off the one crook that was left in the original corridor, I turned to the right side while waiting for more company to show up.

I wasn't disappointed, as 3 more men showed up from the stairs leading to the upper floors, 15 odd meters away from me. Not turning on focus just yet, two gunshots resounded from my cannons as it sent souls down to hell, both with a hole in their chest.

Turning back to run into the apartment, more gunshots whizzed past where I had been just now. Suddenly, the one crook I had left on the other side decided he wanted to get revenge for his friends. Trying to jump me from the door, he was still in the movement of lowering his AK and aiming it towards me when...

BANG!

One bullet dispatched the poor bastard, no <Focus > needed. As his dead body was falling to the floor, I was already running towards the window.

Jumping out of the window from that apartment, I readjusted my posture mid air. As I made contact with the ground once more, I lightly slid for a bit before stopping, before breaking out into another mad dash.

I ran to the right of the window, towards the main entrance door, trying to keep my steps as quiet as I could. Coming to the main entrance, I slowly made my way in, still having 5 seconds left to my stat boost from the original 15 seconds.

A wide hall, with a shabby and dirty red carpet, greeted me, the run down reception desk on the side having only a fine layer of dust. And at the end of the wide hall were stairs to the upper floor, while on both sides were corridors that led to dozens of different apartment rooms.

Making my way down the main corridor, I heard some footsteps coming from the one on the right. Once more I charged there, and jumped as high as I could before the entire corridor came into my view. Seeing the 6 odd crooks having aimed at where I would've been break out in a panic, I started raining righteous lead upon them with a smile hidden under my mask.

<Focus >

BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG!

<Focus >

Six shots, five dead crooks that had splattered the walls with their blood in less than half a second. The remaining bastard tried to aim towards me with fear in his eyes, the bullet having just whizzed past him, yet I had already hid behind the other wall that was part of the stairs, the bullets hitting the solid concrete I was hiding behind.

"AAAAAAAAAHHHHH! DEMON, DEMOOOOOON!

TATATATATATATATATATA!

As the gunshots of that guy resounded, I was reloading both my guns before I decided I would do something different for once. Holstering my Super Redhawk, I was roughly counting the bullets he fired from his rifle, and after the 26th shot I had managed to count, I heard a clicking sound. Then another.

He needed to reload.

Guessing that, I decided to peek the corner, and I saw the man trying to turn around and run for his life. Leaving cover, I took aim at his head that was moving rapidly, trying to dodge my bullet.

BANG!

With a hole in the back of his head, his body fell to the floor, rapidly starting to cool down. Reloading the one bullet, I thought to myself that I absolutely should've bought an Anaconda originally.

Running up the stairs once more, I saw something i really didn't want to see.

Not one bastard , but two bastards. Two damned bastards wearing something similar to SWAT armor, or Special Weapons And Tactics armor, armed with two M4A1s. The only silver lining was that it didn't seem to be hard body armor... I think? Meaning my guns still had a chance of piercing through it.

They were guarding the way to the upper floor, located at he end of the hallway, probably ordered not to leave their posts no matter what.

Testing my luck if it was soft or hard body armor, I took a shot at the left guys helmet, this time having turned on <Focus > as it could prove to be a dangerous fight. Carefully aiming my shot in the further slowed world while their rifles were starting to point at me...

BANG!

Thud.

Looking at the bleeding corpse on the ground, with a hole in its protective visor, both me and the other bastard were stunned for a second.

Trying to aim his M4A1 towards me once more with panic apparent on his face, I shot one more time before he had managed to pull the trigger.

BANG!

Thud.

...That was anticlimactic.

Rushing towards those stairs while I inserted another two bullets into the Anaconda, I heard more footsteps resounding from that that area, meaning more goons for me to shoot.

Lo and behold, three more men were coming down the stairs. Due to wanting to conserve it, I decided against turning on <Focus > for now, so I ran into an apartment opposite of the stairs. Aiming my gun towards where I expected them to come from, I was ready to pull the trigger.

BANG!

BANG!

The two shots painted the walls red with the blood from their chests, while the last one started aiming his rifle towards me. Only now turning <Focus > on for a split second, the last guy had a bullet blast off his face.

BANG!

Walking towards the stairs to the upper floor, I heard the sound of many footsteps approaching from the corridor opposite of the stairs to the upper floor, and I retreated back to the stairs to the lower floor.

Taking aim at a corner, I was ready for whats to come with 5 seconds still on the Deadeye stat boost.

As one bastard decided to peek around the corner, his head was blown off cleanly with one resolute BANG!

His body dropping to the ground, I heard cursing come from their hiding spot, yet I didn't pay attention to it in the slightest.

There was but one thing on my mind right now.

'Damn I really need to get another Anaconda, this is so much better than the Redhawk or the Model 29 .'

Yet another bastard tried to rush out of the corner right afterwards, interrupting my thought process, with his gun aimed in my direction.

BANG

The bullet cleanly flew through his neck, almost severing his head off!

' Another one down, another one bites the dust! ~'

Reloading the Anaconda with two more bullets, I aimed down the corridor again, waiting to see if more idiots would come and peek their head.

Suddenly, 5 bastards jumped out of there, all at the same time, thinking their numbers meant something. As soon as they did that...

<Focus >

My hand started pressing the trigger rapidly, aiming in their general direction.

BANG BANG BANG

<Focus >

Three shots, one only blew off an arm, and with that i returned behind the corner. Being used by now to bullets whizzing past where I was, I heard screaming and yelling. Waiting like that, I reloaded my Anaconda once more, getting ready to peek once they run out of bullets in their mag.

Suddenly, I heard noises coming from downstairs. Knowing that more company arrived, I heard cursing from the second wave of goons down on the lower floor.

Going back to the lower floor, 3 crooks showed up at the main entrance where I crashed from the second time.

BANG BANG BANG!

Headshot! Headshot! HEADSHOT!

'Three less crooks to worry about.'

Inserting more bullets into my Anaconda again, I still had more than 30 shots packed with me in my ammo bags. Sneaking around like that on the lower floor, I heard the rough location of the next group of crooks.

At the back entrance.

Pulling out my Redhawk as well, still having 6 odd seconds of <Focus > left, I snuck up to the corridor that led to the back door.

The corridor itself was 15 odd meters long, and I heard a group of them moving towards me.

<Focus >

Slowly peaking the corner in the slowed down world, I saw the pupils dillate on the faces of the crooks as I jumped out of the hiding spot fully.

A barrage of thunder followed, and 8 men dropped dead with holes riddling various parts of their bodies. Reloading my revolvers, I holstered the Redhawk once more.

Like that, I ambushed another group of 5 crooks that were trying to get in through the window. Finally, I returned back to the stairs to the upper floor sneakily, preaiming my revolver the entire time.

Seeing the gun barrel peak out, i shouted <Focus > in my head, Deadeye still boosting my stats.

Two bangs resounded out, and a man dropped dead. Picking up the SCAR-H, That after checking only had 15 bullets left in the mag, I reloaded it with a new mag I found on the dead body.

Going back to the lower floor, still feeling the effects of Deadeyes stat boost, I ambushed yet another bunch of crooks that were making their way down the main entrance.

<Focus >

RATATATATATA.

10 Shots, all 6 of them had dropped to the floor.

Throwing away my Scar as I definetely didn't need to conserve ammo anymore, and having tried it once, I was satisfied. Now that I heard no more noises from the outside or from this floor, I headed upwards.

Step by step, I headed to the upper floor, my stat boost finally fading. Then one more floor, again not having any crooks on it. Finally, as I headed to the fourth and last floor, I heard the sound of footsteps rushing down the stairs.

"OOOOOAAAAAA-"

BANG!

Looking at the body of the crazy man that tried to rush down the stairs, I was amused. Picking up the shotgun just in case that I needed a backup weapon, I carried onwards. Luckily, it had a strap so I didn't need to worry about dropping one of my revolvers.

Once more reloading, I finally arrived at the topmost floor. Peeking around the corner quickly, with <Focus > active for the one fraction I peeked around the corner for, I saw a man with a mask aiming towards me.

No sooner had I retreated behind the corner, a few pellets whizzed past my head, courtesy of his shotgun.

Memorising his position, I shot without looking with my Anaconda.

Hearing the quiet coming from the corridor, I guessed the man had retreated and was watching and waiting for me to make a mistake.

Pulling out the shotgun, i kept shooting around the corner without looking.

After the third shot. I peeked the corner in focus and saw that he wasn't looking. Shooting one more time down the corridor, I pulled out my Anaconda and waited for the man to peek.

Seeing a sudden movement, I instantly turned on <Focus >.

And then I saw it, in a world that was so slowed down I could carefully inspect the dust participles shapes flying in the air.

From behind the door, an arm holding a molotov cocktail was moving slowly, trying to throw it in my general direction.

With a smile on my face, my Anaconda slightly adjusted towards the bottle still in his hand.

BANG!

"AAAAH AAAAAH AAAAAARGHHH"

The man, who suddenly not only had a missing hand, but was also set on fire, kept screaming, the cries of agony resounding in the building.

As he tried rolling on the floor to extinguish the flames that were slowly burning him, spreading the smell of burning flesh throughout the floor, I ran foward. Looking at the screaming man that was rolling around amidst a sea of flame, I decided to put him out of his misery.

BANG!

With that shot, his body stopped moving, the hole in his chest having done the job. Like that, I waited for the fire to go out before approaching, since the entire floor was just concrete. Not having to wait too long for the molotov fire to expire, it extinguished soon enough. Slowly approaching the door, I wanted to check if there was anyone inside, and more importantly, if there was any good loot for todays hard work.

As I approached the door, a man with one blind eye jumped at me, a butterfly knife and a gun in his hands.

The preaimed revolver fired...

BANG!

Yet the bullet only whizzed past his head as he had dodged.

Then, he aimed his gun towards my head.

BANG!

Having turned my body to the side, the bullet only left a hole in my jacket.

I wanted to fire another shot at him, but he had gotten far too close!

Dropping the revolver, and seeing the approaching knife, I traded blow for blow.

His knife hand was caught securely by my own hand...

... MY FIST GOT TO HIS SCARRED FACE FIRST!

"YOU'RE..."

As soon as my punch connected with him, it sent him flying, his gun and knife dropping to the floor. With a thud sound, he fell on the ground, shakily trying to get up.

Hot in pursuit, I jumped forward with all the strength my body could muster, once more aiming my fist towards his head.

Alas, he was too late with getting up, as my fist reached his face once more.

"DEADMEAT!"

CRACK! CRAck!

Sending him to the ground once more, having felt his bones shatter, I jumped on top of the man, before I started to beat his face, raining down punches on his head.

One punch after another, one crack following the other, the head of the man was pupled into a mess by my fists.

Haaaa....

Haaaaaaaa...

Exhaling loudly, I stopped beating the thing that was once a human head.

Looking at my gloved hands that were covered in blood and brain matter, I shakily rose up and went back to get my Anaconda.

As all the revolver casings the cops would find were from the underground world, and the Anaconda was already messed with, I didn't worry about ballistics tracking. Keeping that in mind, I got ready to ransack this place, knowing I had some time to get rich.

Taking one final deep breath to calm myself, I then started looting.

Looking at the three suitcases that were placed around here, together with a few dozen bags of white powder and piles of money, I contemplated for a moment.

Deciding on the best plan of action for now, I got to work.

Stuffing my pants into my boots, and then tying the shoelaces so tightly that there was no way the pants would fall out, I was satisfied.

Like that, I started throwing money into my pants, an odd feeling of satisfaction washing over me. For five minutes, I kept shoving cash wad after cash wad, bill after bill, inside.

Then, I started looking through the suitcases.

Suitcase number one was a bit disappointing.

A bunch of Flash drives, some documents that I had no clue what they were, a laptop and what I guessed was a hacking tool. And again, some more cash.

It also had drugs but I threw those away.

Suitcase two had 4 gold bars and some jewelry, together with some weapons that were completely useless to me for now. Throwing away the uzi and the heavily modified Sig Sauer p226, I fiddled with the obviously hidden compartment and found a hard drive.

Moving on to the third suitcase, I found only another laptop. Yet considering this one was in its own suitcase, taking up almost all of it, I decided it could be worth something more than money.

Like that, placing the contents from the first suitcase, that had drugs in it, into the second one that had enough space now, I was satisfied.

Sadly though, I didn't have enough space to carry all the bills that I found, having to leave behind god knows how much in this room.

Pilling up the drugs, money and the other things into one pile, I looked at the modified Sig Sauer P226 again. Grabbing the thing as today's spoil of victory, I carefully holstered it in my pocket. Having stuffed myself with enough money that could probably shield my legs from a pistol shot or two, I picked up another molotov and set fire to everything in that room.

Quickly leaving the apartment as I didn't want to inhale drug fumes, the two suitcases in hand, I found another issue the moment I had found myself outside the building.

There were 4 deep blue vans parked next to the building. After a careful inspection it turned out that's where the second round of goons came from.

Now, obviously, the vans had to have some more loot in them.

"Greed is good...Right?"

The pack rat inside of me awakening once more, I did a very rudimentary inspection of the four vans contents.

In the first van I only ended up finding a bunch of Ak47s and some attachments for them, all stored tidily inside of suitcases.

In the second one, a similar result except that it was m4a1 parts and some other assembled guns that I did not recognise.

The third one had a very large amount of explosives and ammo stored in there. Checking to see if there was any 44 magnum ammo I could nab, I was disappointed once more as I didn't find any.

Inside of the fourth van there only was a single suitcase, nothing else inside the van stuck out besides it. Jumping inside, I made sure there were no hidden compartments or similar after a thorough search.

Annoyed, I opened the suitcase and inside I saw something that surpassed the value of everything I had gotten tonight so far.

Phew, took a bit to edit this chapter. LMK what you guys think.
