As the afternoon sun shines it's deadly lasers down the two young servants, the two leisurely walking down the side of the road. Alexa confidently leading the way as she held Alex's hands, which was slowly forming small but firm calluses from their time of training with Garnet.

"You sure you know where we're going?" Alex said with an eyebrow quirked up, Alexa rolled her eyes playfully as she blew a raspberry "Of course I do, I'm just following the hustle and bustle of Milfs walking with bags" She snickered as Alex looked around and found that indeed…

There was a lot of women in this particular street, all chattering and gossiping without care of who would hear.

"Hey did you hear? Megan got stuffed again and they're expecting!"

"Can you BELIEVE that son of a whore of a husband of mine got another girl pregnant!"

"I hope my son won't be too fussy today when I buy some veggies for dinner-"

The two of them were very much enjoying the gossip they were hearing, this definitely wasn't a waste of time! No no~ this is just training to gather info. Although gossip isn't a reliable source, some of the info has some semblance of truth in them.

"Okay fine, let's just get to what we were doing-" Alex said as he pushed forward into the crowd, now he was the one leading the way. Expertly weaving through the gossipers, the two of them had some experience with buying groceries from the public market back in their old world. Since their mother never had enough time to actually do it, so they picked up the slack.

Finally! After a while they managed to squeeze on by and was once again introduced into the world of chattering and bartering. Alex, with a determined expression on his face said "Alright! Let's just buy the food and get out of here, we don't want to get distrac- OOooH shiny!" Alex said as a market stall that was selling trinkets and accessories caught his attention

Alexa rolled her eyes and had a lopsided smile as she led him towards the stall, knowing full well that she was FINALLY going to be the responsible one and stop him from spending money for random stuff…it feels like every man who didn't experience a childhood will buy toys that they always wanted as a child since they have their own money now.

The person manning the stall was a nice looking old man who was yelling towards the bustling crowd to come and take a look at his merchandise. The old man took notice of the two.

"Ahh hello lil munchkins~ what has caught your interest today" the old man said as he rubbed his hands together, giving them a practiced smile

'Ah the smile of customer service, how fammilier' The two simultaneously thought.

Alexa piped up, a polite smile on her face "My brother just got his attention snatched by something shiny, I'm just here so he doesn't actually buy anything"

Said brother was busy looking at the merchandise, which consisted of rings, earrings and other cosmetic jewelry.

The old man laughed boisterously "Why you two are a comedic duo aren't ya~" making Alexa smile as she did a comedic pose in response "You know it pops~!" She even TeeHee'd-

The old man then applauded, playing along with her as he clapped a few times "Very amusing...tell you what, as thanks, I'll let you two pick one little trinket for free. In return, comeback when you ACTUALLY want to buy some accesories yeah?"

The old man offered, as it really didn't matter if he gave a few stuff for free. Plus he'll have a chance to get recurring customers so it's no skin off his back to give a little.

The two youngins eyes sparkled...not because of the old man's kindness but because of the deal-

"Really Old man!?"

"Really Old man?!"

The two said with glee as they started to look at the selection of of goods. After a few moments of trying to decide what to get. There were a lot of choices to pick from, and since this was their one and only freebie. They were going to make it worth it.

10 Minutes Later

The smile on the old man's face was cramping up as these two little bra-... Kids, took their time to pick something that was FREE for the Light's sake-

With a cough the old man tried to speed them up "Kiddos I still have other customers to get too you know-"

But Alexa pulled her hands up towards him and actually shushed him as the two scoured all over the accessory filled table... although they already looked over the same merchandise 4 times already.

The old mans eye twitched but eventually gave up as he was about to sit down since he figured they would take a bit longer, enough time to rest that is- as he stood up for quite awhile and his old bones were...old. But as he pulled his chair underneath him the two already picked their choices.

Devoiding the old mans ass and legs relief by sitting down.

"Ill pick this pops!"

"I'll pick this pops!"

The said with a bright smile as Alex picked a lovely green locket that had a gem that looked like an emerald as the main attraction of attention and a thin but durable silver chain to wrap around comfortably on the neck.

Alexa picked out a small but golden ring that had a simple design but a small sapphire in the middle of the band of gold.

The old man annoyed but also relieved stood up with a smile once again "Alright kiddos! Scram! And come back again, don't forget to give me some free advertisement by saying where you bought those pretty little things when someone asks where you live.

The two giggled as they ran off, after a few more minutes of running away he looked at the locket.

"Hey I got this for youu~"

Alex said as he held the locket out to Alexa...while Alexa did the same thing with the ring

"Hey I got this for you~"

The two said at the same time,

"Hey I got the same thing!"

"Hey I got the same thing!"

They broke into giggles, Alexa pushing her hair up she said "You think you can put it on me~" Alexa said with a cutesy voice and tone.

Alex rolled his eyes but did so anyway, latching the locket on her neck before a notification sounded out and a panel appeared Infront of them

The watched as their health going from 200/100 to 240/120. Their eyes widening as a sick smile appeared on his face "Oh this is going to be funnnnn"

But then another panel appeared over the other one, a progress bar that started at 0% below the text.
