A new start

Gems POV:

All of the sudden I felt a very sharp pain in the back of my eyes. And as I try to open my eyes it felt as if they were glued shut. I tried to scream but nothing came out. It felt as if my whole body was on fire. The pain felt like it lasted an eternity but in reality it only lasted 5 minutes. I had a strange feeling that I was just talking to someone important but I couldn't remember. I still couldn't open my eyes but eventually the pain subsided and I felt numb all over, "what the hell is happening?" was the first thing that popped into my head, "am I dead?" but I threw that idea away. I mean if I was dead how would be able to think how would I be able to feel pain. I was starting to feel scared and now all I wanted to do was be able to see.

All of the sudden I started to here a strange sound.

This sounded as something was coming closer. "This is it" Gem thought. But as the sound started to move closer and to Gem It did the most surprising thing. It started to lick my face! Or at least that what it felt like. At first I was scared but then I almost felt calm. Then an even stranger thing happened.

I could see! It was almost as if this creature had licked all the "glue" that was keeping my eyes shut away. Now the first thing I saw was that there was a giant green wolf staring directly at me. Everything was still a little blurry but I could clearly see that this was a wolf. This wolfs expression was very, well,

Wolf like.

It had a loving gaze that I could feel was directed toward me. It made me feel like there was nothing in the world that would harm me. "Mother" was also the first thought that came to my mind as soon as I saw her.

"Hmm".

3rd person POV:

In a dark cave in the middle of a grand forest there was a female nature wolf tending to her pup. This pup was non-other Gem himself. He had no idea what had happened to cause this. His memory was a little fuzzy so he couldn't recall his past but he felt that he was just talking to someone.

Strange.

He didn't want to do anything strange in front of his mother so he waited for her to fall asleep.

Gem decided to see if he could do anything with what the strange voice that told him earlier that he could see. When she finally did after hours of treating him, he thought "sight".

[In order to inspect ability " Sight " the host has to activate ability " Inspect " would you like to do that now? yes/no ]

"Uh".

"Yes" he thought.

[Ability " Inspect " activated what would you like to inspect?]

After hearing this he became extremely excited. "Inspect Sight" he thought.

"Ok then inspect me" Gem thought.

"What the heck my Intelligence is through the roof at level one it's not like I could read books as a wolf so how is it that high"? Gem thought.

After reading down the list of things he could do Gem got extremely excited he was almost vibrating with joy. Which caused his mother to wake up and lick him some more. This was a big discovery for Gem he could use MAGIC! But he was a little disappointed that all his stats were so low, except Intelligence. "I must have a big brain then" Gem thought. All this information was a little to much for him so he decided him so he decided to go to sleep and test out his skills till tomorrow.

The next morning Gem decided to explore the cave. His mother had left a little while earlier to go hunting. He came apon a rock and thought "Inspect".

Hmm.

Boring, so he moved on to a bunch of different things until he inspected every single thing in the cave from beetles to twigs and at the final thing in the cave which was a very big rock after he inspected the rock.

[Ablitiy " Inspect " Level Two]

He leveled his Inspect ability to level 2.

"Now on to stage two" he thought, he could use earth magic, at least that is what is stats told him. But he was going to start out small so he walked over to one of the small rocks from earlier. He decided he was now going to try and do some magic on a rock.

This rock was nothing special just another small rock. He thought very intensely towards to rock and he could feel his mp start to drain. As he stared at the rock is suddenly started to crack, this made him excited but suddenly the rock exploded and sent bits and pieces of it everywhere.

That was his last thought before he felt a sharp pain in the middle of his skull it was as if he was just hit in the brain with a hammer. He soon could feel himself start to lose conciseness and drift into sleep.
