Lucifer POV

Things went like the original timeline Elena's parents died in the accident with Stefan rescuing her not because he was interested in her. But because I had told him to keep a watch over her since I told him about the Doppelgangers and Niklaus's curse. Also, the fact that Damon is in town made him interested in the assignment.

I was at the Lux mansion as Marcus asked "So that idiot Damon is in Town again?"I gave a nod and replied, "Yes he found the doppelganger and is interested in her."

Marcus scowled and said, "So we have to keep an eye on the problem child?"I sighed and replied, "Yes make sure to teach him a lesson if he tries to hurt anyone in town."It's a well-known fact that those who are in the shitlist of the Shadow hunters are in real trouble and Damon was obviously in it.

Marcus grinned and said, "Ohh don't worry about that uncle we will make sure to give him special treatment."I chuckled hearing that as I replied "Just make sure you keep him alive okay."

After our discussion Marcus went home as Finn, Kol, Freya, and Bekah entered the room as Kol was the first one to speak "Who would have guessed the Doppelganger Klaus is searching so hard is right here in Mystic falls our old home."

I smiled and said, "Well Mystic falls seems to be a hotspot for all the supernatural. So how is Mystic falls."Finn was the one to reply "We walked around using the cloaking spell it is a quiet town."

Kol snarked "Not for long since the annoying Salvatore brother is here things are obviously going to get problematic."Freya and Rebekah couldn't help but nod since all of them heard about Damon Salvatore from Stefan.

I gave a nod and replied, "I have to agree with Kol this Damon Salvatore is the most annoying person in the world as long as he achieves his goal he doesn't care who he hurts or kills."

Freya crossed her arms and said, "Well I am curious how he survived for the past 100 years with his attitude."That was a million-dollar question since I have no doubt he has angered many people over the century.

Rebekah smiled asked, "So I heard you are a history professor here at the school."I shrugged and replied, "I thought it was the best way to clear my boredom and also keep an eye on the doppelganger."

Rebekah nodded and said, "Then I will join as a student.I need some friends here to talk to after all"Kol smirked and asked, "Bekah I thought Student-teacher relationships are forbidden.I didn't know you are into such a thing"Bekah glared at Kol but I could see there was a small tint of pink on her cheeks as Freya groaned and said, "Stop it Kol."

I calmed Freya and Bekah down as I asked, "Kol how was your trip did you get the covens to join our city."Kol got serious and replied"They are okay with coming since I was the one to help start their covens they are very loyal to me and because I passed down your teachings brother. They have no problem with werewolves or vampires living in the city although they were awe at the fact all three species were living in harmony. Although there were some of the traditionalist witches opposing to come. But when I spoke your name was heard they completely stopped the argument."

I took a sip of alcohol I summoned and said"That's good."I then called Shen Min who entered the room as I asked "Shen how is it going in the french quarter ."

Shen bowed before and me and replied "My lord there were not many problems Marcel gerad tried to take over the quarter. But we were able to squash the rebellion as the witches and Vampires seem to prefer us in control "

I gave a nod and said"That's good just make sure Marcel doesn't take control of the vampires.He is very charismatic and cunning. So be careful of him."Shen Min gave a nod and as I continued "What about those girls I told you about Davina Claire, Monique Deveraux, Cassie, and Abigail."

Shen replied, "We are keeping an eye on them."I asked, "What is Vincent doing."Shen answered "After we capture Eva Sinclair and you Cleasned her of the dark magic. He has been grateful for your help and has joined our ranks and now keeps an eye on other New Orlean witches and Warlocks."I did not plan to save Eva it just happened.I had told him about the hollow and how it was corrupting his fiancee Eva. Let's just say the guy hated the Hollow greatly and is now looking out for zealots of Hollow.

I waved my hand as he went out as Kol questioned "What was that about?"

I sighed and explained, "Those girls I mentioned we're going to be sacrificed for the harvest ritual."Kol narrowed eyes at me and said"The Harvest ritual isn't that performed by the New Orleans witches."I gave a nod as Rebekah in confusion questioned "What is this Harvest Ritual."

Kol looked at me as I gestured him to go ahead as he explained "The Ancestors are the power source of all New Orleans covens. Once a witch has died, they are consecrated, and the magic in their bones are added to the ancestral power. While this restricts the witches, both living and dead, to New Orleans, it gives the covens the power, and the knowledge, of hundreds upon hundreds of witches. However, every three hundred years, the connection between the living witches, and the dead ones begins to wane. In order to rebuild the connection, The Harvest Ritual must be performed. Those sacrificed are resurrected from the Ancestral Plane during the Reaping."

Kol may have been a member of The Ancestors if he died since he helped the covens of New Orleans a lot during his time there.
