Chapter 2

The Arrival of Ayato created an interest in Fuyumi, while she trusted her friend.These claims were not something small and so Ayato was tested and let's just say the results of these tests shocked everyone.

Fuyumi instantly made sure to seal the information and quickly called a meeting with her her father in law and husband.

Now sitting in the meeting room was an elderly man with a bald head, visible wrinkles, hooked nose, and pronounced cheekbones. He has red eyes,long eyebrows, long mustache, and a hip-length white beard secured by a purple band crossing down it. He has many scars on his body, with the two most prominent being a pair of long scars crossing above his right eye, he wore a long-sleeved haori draped over his back instead of actually wearing it, with its size being greatly exaggerated.

This was Yamato Saegusa the Head of Saegusa clan and father of Saegusa Kouichi, who was next to him can be described as a relatively skinny and gentle-looking individual. He looks more like a sharp businessman.

Yamato questioned Fuyumi"Why call us here?"

Fuyumi with a serious tone replied"We found something out of the ordinary, it was unlike any modern or Ancient magic.I have seen."

As she showed them a video,Yamato and Kouichi leaned forward with slight curiosity.

The video started and it was white room,Yamato recognized this as one of there testing facility and there was a young boy in testing suit.

Kouichi questioned"Who is the boy?"

Fuyumi answered"He is the son of friend of mine, his name is Ayato Nakajou.Son of Rei Nakajou,she came to me with her son and told me about,how he was showing mutiple unknown ablities....I knew her from highschool and she was not one to say these things randomly."

Yamato then muttered"So is he a ancient magic user or superpower user?"

There three classifications of magic,which is Mordern magic,Ancient magic and super power users.

Ancient Magic is capable of a variety of things, most of it specialized beyond the capabilities of modern magic. Generally, Ancient Magic is slower and more focused than modern magic, as practitioners do not use Casting Assistant Device (CAD) and instead use talismans and the like. As well, back in the day, slower invocation speeds were prevalent, so magic sequences were often much more convoluted to prevent easy identification and negation of the spell. Ancient Magic and modern magic use the same principle, use interference on data and rewrite the phenomenon, but are expressed in different ways. Families that inherit Ancient Magics tend to hide their abilities, although in the new age of categorization, it tends to be a little less pronounced. In terms of surprise attacks, Ancient Magic boasts superior firepower and secrecy.

Superpowers/Supernatural Powers are magics that directly cause phenomenon without Activation Sequences or any other ritual, unlike Modern Magic or Ancient Magic. However, Superpower users can only use one type of magic, any differences will just be variations of the original. (Tatsuya is an exception, having at least two Superpowers.) It can be considered a specialization, to a point where the magics that can only be used are few. Superpowers can be activated with pure thought regardless of intent or will, unlike modern magic, where unintentionally creating a magic sequence and activating it is impossible for magicians using dozens of types of magics, like most modern magicians. However, unintentional magics from people capable of multiple types of magic indicates a strong phenomena rewriting ability.

The term 'Supernatural Power (Superpower)' was initially used synonymous for Magicians as their ability was then purely inherent, but the term is now no longer synonyms to Magicians because the magicians are now a product of sudden mutation and has been spread around to the public due to 'systematization as a technology'

Fuyumi replied"I thought that too,but then we saw this?"

As they looked back to screen to see the boy face a gaint robot and then a gigantic black mass of every is shot out from the boys palm.

It's so big that it can cover all of the robot's body.The mass of demonic-power devours the monster's body. When the ball of energy disappears, so did every part of the robot.There was nothing left.

Fuyumi seeing the shocked expression on her husband and father in laws face added"We checked and found this is by no means Ancient magic or super power."

Yamato with seriousness questioned"Then what is it?"

Fuyumi shook her head and answered"We have no idea, also we found Ayato has an unknown energy that allows him to greatly augment his physical prowess."

She showed him superhuman punches,ability to walk on walls and water.

Kouichi was smart enough to understand the capabilities of this new energy and asked"Can we recreate it?"

Fuyumi shook her head and replied"Our top scientists, said it is impossible and even far as to say even cloning won't do anything.Also,he is able create much stronger powers too,the number is too high too tell."

This was GOD protection that made this to unable to ever copied or recreated by scientific means.

This was shocking to the two, but they were thinking about the future and Yamato spoke up"I will call a few contacts of mine to seal all the information regarding this boy, this is our chance to keep the Yotsuba Clan from causing us trouble."

Kouichi nodded and clenched his fist remembering his former fiancee Maya Yotsuba.

When he was younger, the Yotsuba and the Saegusa Family's had arranged an engagement between Yotsuba Maya and him, but when he was fourteen and Maya was twelve, she was kidnapped. When she returned, she had lost her emotional connection to Kouichi and her natural ability to reproduce, so the engagement was dissolved. The incident cost him one of his eyes, which he had replaced with a mechanical eye instead of a new eye constructed for himself using cloning technology but he refused as a reminder of his failure to protect his fiancée and because of him wearing an eye patch, he is known as the "Eye Patch Boy Magician". He later wears sunglasses both indoors and out to hide the artificial eye. 

He, along with Yotsuba Miya and Maya, were tutored by Kudou Retsu, whom he still refers to as "Sensei".

The past discord between Kouichi and Maya makes their relationship very tense and they are now rivals, it also may be due to the Saegusa Family leading the Ten Master Clans, and therefore having great influence over the other Families, which is now threatened by the increase in power and influence of the Yotsuba Clan.
