[??? POV ]

"Did you hear anything about them?" I asked Emmett, who had just returned from the castle.

"No, Mother, it's been nearly three weeks. He should've returned by now," he replied, and I could see he was worried too.

Carlisle rarely left us, but he couldn't deny the king's orders. He was excited at the thought of us becoming nobles. Even Edward wanted to go to get that noble vampire, but Carlisle denied him.

"Don't worry, Mother, everything will be fine. Maybe they are trying to get him out of Hogwarts. He'll be back soon," said Emmett, trying to comfort me.

I couldn't help but smile. I loved my children dearly; they are everything I had longed for.

"Okay, now go. Rosalie would be furious if you were late for the hunt," I reminded him, which made him panic as he looked at his watch.

"Thanks, Mom," he said as he hugged me and left in a hurry. I chuckled at his hurried steps. He was the strongest in the coven but still afraid of Rosalie's anger.

I walked upstairs towards the room of my troublesome daughter, who had been quite depressed lately. She refused to go on hunts and stayed in her bed all day, trying to use her powers to see her mate.

She's desperate. It may be due to us, as everyone in the family already had partners, and she had waited a long time for her mate bond to form, but it was a very strong bond.

I could see her suffering. She tried to hide it as she didn't want to worry us, but she was in pain. We have to find him as soon as possible.

I opened her door and saw her sleeping, or pretending to sleep. I walked towards her bed and caressed her cheek, my girl.

(Bang)

I heard a loud noise outside the house.

"Mom, what happened?" said Alice as she looked up.

We both jumped out of her window to see an old man dressed in a suit carrying two dark red swords, and Rosalie and Emmett were in front of him. They had visible sword slashes, and their wounds weren't healing.

We both got ready to fight.

"No, run away! Mom, take Alice and Rose. I'll hold him back," roared Emmett.

"No! I'm not leaving you," cried Rosalie.

"You seem to be mistaken. I am not here to harm your coven," he said calmly as he sheathed his sword and dusted his shoulder.

"Then why did you harm my children?" I shouted instinctively.

"I apologize. It was self-defense; they attacked me first," he said while changing his white gloves.

This man is dangerous. He defeated Emmett like it was nothing; he didn't even have a scratch.

"My name is Esme Cullen, mother of this coven. Identify yourself as you are invading our property."

Alice was still ready to fight, but I had lowered my guard as I didn't think we could even run away from someone of his strength.

"Oh, where are my manners? Master would be embarrassed by my conduct. My name is Alfred Rothschild, Head Butler of the Drakul Manor. I serve Lord Agustus Drakul," he said to us while giving a noble bow.

I gasped upon hearing his name. He was a legend among vampires, the oldest and strongest vampire alive.

Why? Why is he here? Did he find out about the attack on Drakul?

No, no, no... if that happened...

Tears trickled down my face as I knelt on the ground. He shouldn't have left us.

"He's at the Drakul Manor and doing fine," Alfred said. I looked up to see an understanding look on his face. I couldn't help but smile at the revelation that my husband was alive.

"But don't think for a second I would forget he had attempted to threaten my lord's life. My master is very forgiving, and that's the only reason he's alive," Alfred said coldly.

"Then why are you here?" asked a groaning Emmett.

"To kill all the lessers of this country, except, of course, the Cullens. You are invited by Master at Drakul Manor. That's where you will meet your husband," he finished saying, and then someone attacked him. It was Edward.

[POV end]

[Agustus POV]

I was on my bed, beside me slept Hela, and Narcissa. I was between two beautiful woman when I heard someone knocking my door.

As the door opened, a rocket Luna came and jumped and hugged me, thanking me repeatedly. It seems she got my other gift. Pandora Lovegood too entered the room trying to catch her running daughter but due to Dora's training she had gotten a lot stronger physically.

"Your welcome Luna" I said hugging the girl.

Hela and Narcissa looked at us with smiles while I saw Pandora blushing.

Realising the state of mine, she kissed my cheek let go of me, she looked down due to Embarrassment, and ran out of room which made the three of us laugh.

"Again, thankyou for everything Agustus" said Pandora, the embarrassment was gone now, she appeared to be serious.

"You're welcome, now I think you should follow Luna, she might accidentally hurt herself, she's running too fast" she smiled and followed her daughter who seems to be gotten faster.

[Alice Longbottom POV]

Everything seems to be going wrong. Frank isn't coming home, and I don't know what to do.

I had sent the contract without Lord Longbottom's seal of approval, which was basically a crime, but my husband wouldn't do anything against me, right? He would understand that I was desperate and wanted to do something. At least, that's what I thought.

When he received the letter from Heir Peverell, he removed my control from the wards and took away my access to the family's vault.

I know I made a mistake, and I apologized, but he wouldn't listen to anything. He has become a senior Auror again and got busy with his job and ignored all my pleas.

I tried to tell him my side of the story, to explain why I did what I did, but he refused to listen. According to him, I had betrayed the Longbottom house by doing that.

Fortunately, Neville understands me. He's not going to be an insensitive jerk like his father. He embraced Harry as his brother and loves him dearly. I am so proud of my Nev.

But I had vowed to pay the debt, and Frank won't stop me. At this point, I don't really care about him. He's a selfish coward who only thinks about the thrill of hunting wizards, nothing else.

[Alice Cullen POV]

"No, we are not going there! It could be dangerous!" roared Edward. He had read someone's mind again.

"I know, but what about Carlisle then? Do you know the identity of the man who came? Do you know what happened at the castle? He killed them all; not a single one was alive!" said mother with anger. She was right. We had to go there. Edward is being a selfish b

"I heard that, Alice, and no, I am thinking about the family this time!" he said, glaring at me. I couldn't control myself this time.

"Stop using your powers, Edward," I snapped, to which he just smirked.

"Of course you'd want that. Yours don't work anyway," he retorted. I was ready to punch him, but Bella, Edward's mate, stopped me by grabbing my hand. I looked at my friend with a betrayed look.

"No, Alice, he's right. Going there is putting our family in danger," she said as I removed my hand from her grasp.

Rosalie and Emmett were silent, while mother glared at Edward.

"We are going, and there will be no discussion about this. Carlisle gave us this family, and we will not betray his love," she said, stopping the argument.

"Well, Bella and I won't be going with you. I have booked tickets to America. We are leaving," Edward declared as Bella moved towards him.

He had already booked two tickets? So they had already planned to move away. Mother smiled bitterly and looked down.

"Yes, go and live your life," she said as she walked towards her room.

I ran towards my room, missing dad.
