Chapter 11

In the following weeks, Kaito frequently met up with Nanaka, Chisa, and Azusa. However, Azusa had to leave after the first week due to her university exams. She bid farewell to the group and departed for her university, promising to return when she had free time.

During these weeks, Kaito and Nanaka spent a lot of time together. Sometimes, Chisa joined them, especially when they went diving. This strengthened the friendship between Kaito and Nanaka. It's worth noting that Kaito also frequented the Grand Blue store to eat, getting along very well with Mr. Toshio. Each time they went there, they would engage in conversations about various topics.

Kaito thoroughly enjoyed this free time, especially as he spent more time with Nanaka, feeling increasingly drawn to her and wanting to spend more time with her. One particular day further heightened the attraction between them. It happened on a day shortly after finishing a dive when both Nanaka and Kaito decided to take a moonlit walk on the beach.

Nanaka, with a big smile, said to Kaito, "Tonight is beautiful, don't you think, Kaito-kun?" Hearing Nanaka, Kaito responded with a smile, "Yes, the moon is especially beautiful tonight."

Nanaka chuckled softly and said to Kaito, "I usually walk here when I have a lot on my mind. Usually, I do it alone, but it's nice to have company." Kaito, with a small laugh, replied, "Yes, it's always good to have some alone time to oneself; it allows you to rethink many things and see them from different perspectives. Although, it's also nice to do it with other people because it allows you to have different perspectives on things."

Nanaka, upon hearing Kaito, smiled and said, "Kaito-kun, I must say you know a lot about life for being young." Kaito, upon hearing this, smiled and replied, "I'm told that often."

Nanaka let out a little giggle at Kaito's comment and gently asked, "Kaito-kun, if it's not too much trouble, would you tell me about your childhood?" Upon hearing Nanaka's question, Kaito responded with a smile, "Sure, it's no problem," and they sat down. Kaito recounted his childhood, which was very good in general. He told Nanaka about how his parents took care of him and about his school life. At times, Nanaka made surprised gestures at Kaito's tales, given his life as a wealthy person. Sometimes, she laughed at anecdotes from when he was a baby, such as how he used to crawl a lot, and his parents would chase him from behind, telling him to stop while baby Kaito laughed.

Upon hearing about Kaito's childhood, Nanaka, with a big smile, said, "You had a great childhood, Kaito-kun." Kaito smiled back and said, "I guess I did," then asked Nanaka, "How was your childhood?"

In response to this question, Nanaka, with a big smile and a touch of nostalgia, told Kaito about her childhood. She had a fairly normal and happy childhood with her family, telling him a bit about her time at school and how she made many friends, especially how she met Azusa. She also recounted some funny anecdotes about herself, which made both of them laugh for a good while.

They spent a good time together, laughing a lot, until they looked at the time and realized it was a bit late. Surprised, Nanaka said, "Wow, time flew by." Kaito responded with a smile, "Yes, I suppose when you're having fun talking to someone else, you don't realize that time is passing."

Upon hearing Kaito's words, Nanaka got up from the sand and with a smile said, "You're right, I really enjoyed this day, Kaito-kun, and I hope we continue to have days like these." Kaito also got up from the sand and with a big smile said, "It was definitely a great day, and we'll keep having days like these, you can be sure of that."

Nanaka, upon hearing Kaito's response, said with a smile, "I'm glad to hear that," and they both headed back to the store. Along the way, they continued to talk and laugh, with the moon behind them. It was truly a memorable day for both of them.
