shocking turn of events

Julius, Adam, and Elise all look through the hole in the wall that Sir Williams put his head through. They see a large gaping mouth with a bright light appearing. Elise jumps far away while Adam moving at sonic speed tackles Sir Williams away from the light. A large amount of lightning destroys the whole stilted base, burning through the strong ironwood like a matchstick.

Adam-"Sir Williams are you alright"

Sir Williams screams out-"my leg it's burned, help"

Adam-"Elise! Elise! Are you okay out there"

Elise jumps out of the ruble.

Elise-"I'm fine what about Julius"

They look over to where Julius's golem was seeing a non moving pile of rocks.

Adam-"darn it no augh come on we have to get out of here now"

Sir Williams-"what in the gods was that thing"

Adam-"we have to go I think it was a-"

A giant dragon like creature flies down in front of them followed by sparks and a fearsome roar.

Adam-"It's a lightning wyvern, that's a high B rank monster"

Sir Williams-"you're a C rank aren't you can't you at least try to fight it"

Adam-"we would need at least 5 C ranks to take that thing down and that's with a plan of attack"

Adam grabs Sir Williams and attempts to jump away with him but wyvern swings a talon covered in lightning at Adam. Adam quickly grabs his sword and uses it to block the attack, he blocked the hit but still got flung away into a tree knocking the tree down. The wyvern begins walking in Adam's direction.

Elise-"Adam no! Now fire skill: explosive flame burst"

A giant ball of fire is created by Elise and shot at the Wyvern creating a large explosion ten times the size of the one she made earlier against the frilled lizard.

The lightning Wyvern screams in surprise and looks over at Elise charging an attack. Elise creates a large burst of flame beneath her feet to launch into the air just barely avoiding the wyvern's blast.

Adam flies out from the tree with his sword at his side.

Adam-" blade skill: storm of steel"

Adam created a large amount of slashing attacks aimed at the wyvern pushing it towards the ground.

Adam-"plant skill: binding vines"

A large amount of vines come out of the ground and wrap around the wyvern pulling it towards the ground.

Adam-"don't let it get up everybody who can hit it with everything you have"

Adam sends more sword slashes down while Elise shoots continuous fire balls.

The wyvern screams out in pain from the assault in produces a large amount of lightning from its body incinerating the vines. Elise jumps out of the way but Adam is hit by the attack.

Elise-"Adam no!"

Elise rockets towards Adam but she is blocked off by some lightning from the wyvern. The wyvern is about to attack Elise but is hit from the right side by a magic arrow and hit by a blast of water from the left side.

The arrow was fired by one of the humans and the water blast is from the other elf girl.

Joe(human)-"we have to fight this thing now worry about him later"

Jasmine(elf girl)-"we have to focus on taking down the wyvern then we can heal them afterwards"

Elise-"no! You guys need to get out of here right now this is too dangerous we have to retreat"

The lightning wyvern roars out again this time turning its attention towards Jasmine with a lightning covered claw attack. Jasmine attempts to block it with a water shield but it goes straight through it.

Joe-"oh gods why did this happen to us"

Joe runs off into the woods away from the wyvern.

Sir Williams-"hey what about me get back here don't let me die"

Sir Williams attempts to go after them but falls because of his burnt leg.

Sir Williams-"there was another adventurer here too right I think his name was Bob or something hey Bob come here and help me right now-"

Sir Williams looks into the rubble from the base seeing Bob attempting to crawl out heavily injured and burned.

Sir Williams-"someone help this can't be happening, gods if you hear me I'm sorry, I'll be more charitable I promise just let me live"

The wyvern reacted to Sir Williams screams and went to attack him. Right before the Wyvern could chomp down on him Adam jumped out and attacked the wyvern with a slash.

Elise-"Adam your healed up but how you don't have a healing skill"

Long chains appear out of the air and wrap around the wyvern's head.

A small bright light zooms past the wyvern and over to Sir Williams.

Elise-"is that Julius?"

Adam-"yes he was able to heal me come on lets take this thing down"

Adam and Elise run around the wyvern while it is distracted by the chains. Julius flies over to Sir Williams and begins to heal his leg.

Julius-"listen, you need to run over in the same direction as Joe, meet up with him, and then the two of you get out of the forest as fast as possible"

Sir Williams-"Yes I will, thank you"

Sir Williams runs off in the same direction as Joe did.

Julius-"alright now I need to heal Jasmine and Bob"

Voice-"that won't work"

Julius-"why not is my healing not powerful enough"

Voice-"based on my scans it would seem both Bob and Jasmine have died"

Julius-"there is no way, well can't I repair them with molecular reconstruction, I can make their organs function and their brain activity come back"

Voice-"you could reform their bodies but you are unable to revive them as you don't have the appropriate skill"

Julius-"darn it why!?"

The wyvern tore through the chains Julius wrapped around its head.

From the left Elise started blasting it with fire. With Adam attacking from the right with repeated sword slashes.

Elise-"fire skill: flame pillar"

Adam-"sword skill: razor cyclone"

A large tornado of fire and cuts surrounds the wyvern hitting it from all sides. The wyvern creates a large pulse of lightning dispersing the joint attack. The wyvern stood there breathing heavily.

Elise-"it's starting to get tired we can do this"

Adam-"I don't know how much longer we can hold out either though"

The wyvern shoots out more bursts of lightning with Adam and Elise jumping out of the way.

Julius flies up toward the wyvern's face without it noticing.

Julius-"acid skill: corrosive splash"

A wave of acid sprays over the wyverns face disorienting it.

Adam-"who made that attack"

Elise-"it doesn't matter, keep attacking it"

Adam-"nature skill: thorn whip"

A large thorny vine is created and strikes the wyvern then wrapping around its neck and pulling it to the ground again.

Elise-"fire skill: falling star"

Elise created a massive ball of fire that she then threw down at the lightning wyvern engulfing it in flames.

The wyvern screams out in pain, being unable to see anyone it creates a large amount of lightning spheres that it shoots out in random directions with them constantly changing their direction as they fly around causing massive explosions of electricity when they land.

Adam-"look out it's attacking the whole area"

Adam and Elise are constantly dodging these attacks but both end up getting hit after dodging several of them.

Both Adam and Elise drop to the floor heavily damaged.

Adam wincing in pain-"we gave it everything we had and we were so close"

The wyvern stands up damaged being unable to fly anymore due to its tattered wings and shattered scales.

The wyvern is about to kill Adam when its head starts looking wavy like from the intense heat of the desert.

Julius-"gravity skill: inverse gravity, pull that things head apart"

The wyverns mouth is wide open and its eyelids and nostrils are extended but it pulls away from the attack.

Voice-"your skills are not strong enough to kill the wyvern"

The wyvern attacks the area where Julius is trying to find who attacked it.

Voice-"it is unlikely that the wyvern will be able to kill you, you should be safe"

Julius-"I know but Adam and Elise aren't, I have to think of something"

The wyvern looks away from the spot Julius is in and looks back over at Adam and begins to attack again. Adam has stood up and is pointing at the wyvern with this sword.

Julius-"what can I do, my skills are too weak to deal damage normally what kind of technique can I use"

Julius has a flashback of a time he was at a particle accelerator facility. One of his coworkers was hit by a stray particle while cleaning the inside of the machine when they thought it was turned off.

Julius-"that's it I can turn myself into a particle accelerator"

Voice-"you don't have a skill for that"

Julius-"no but I'll make one, first to control my trajectory I'll create electromagnetic rings that pull me towards them and guide me. I'll use gravity to hold the rings in place and provide additional pull of me"

Hundreds of small rings the size of a wedding rings appear all around the wyvern.

Julius-"then I surround myself with photons with my light magic to propel me to the speed of a particle accelerator at 99.9999991% the speed of light"

Julius's particle body begins to shine brightly.

Julius-"and now go particle acceleration!"

A bright beam of light is created as it passed through the first five rings hitting the wyvern in the face with a large amount of force.

Julius-"particle accelerators usually use protons but since I'm an entire atoms with magical power enhancing me I'll hit a lot harder"

The light beam continues to hits the wyvern over and over at insane speeds hitting its thousands of times a second. Trails of light surrounding the wyvern.

Adam and Elise stand up shocked at what they see.

Elise-"is that Julius how is he doing that"

Adam-"I don't know but we can't let him do it alone"

Adam draws his sword and holds it out in front of Elise.

Elise-"fire skill: blazing armament"

The sword is covered in fire. Adam stand there and charged up his attack. Julius continues to pummel the wyvern with his particle accelerator attack. The wyvern then starts glowing with its lightning preparing one final attack.

Adam-"sword skill: critical strike plus flame armament"

Adam jumps towards the wyvern and Julius and slashed the wyverns head with his flaming sword killing it.

Adam jumps away and lands on his two feet. The wyvern drops dead behind him. Julius halts his accelerator which takes a couple hundred more loops of slowing down.

Elise-"it's dead finally"

Both Adam and Elise collapse onto the ground exhausted while Julius heals them a small amount.

Julius-"dang that attack took about all of my mana"

Adam looking up at the sky while laying down-"you know, your pretty strong for an E rank"

Julius-"yeah hopefully I can rank up after this"
