Julius spent the rest of the day killing the small ant monsters.

Julius-"finally 10 hours later flying from ant to ant using the venom skill on all of them I have reached it I am LEVEL 1!"

Voice-"congratulations Julius you have reached the same level as a newborn child"

Julius-"why must you ruin everything for me, your worse than my my old neighbor Karen"

Voice-"from this point on you will increase your levels normally from one to two to three and so on"

Julius-"thank goodness"

Voice-"your mana count is also higher than a normal level 1 because of all the skill points you out towards mana"

Julius-"it's nice to get some good news for once, speaking of good news I can make that golem now right"

Voice-"yes now that you are level 1 you will be able to create a basic golem with your earth skill"

Julius-"alright earth skill: golem creation"

A 1 meter tall gravel golem rises out of the ground.

Julius-"a little short but way better than what I have right now"

Voice-"there is one problem"

Julius-"if you make another short joke I swear I will-"

Voice-"you will be unable to communicate with anybody"

Julius-"oh yeah you're right, hmmm I just need to make a sound skill, making some particles vibrate with my gravity and air skills at a certain frequency to make some noises should be enough"

Julius does just that and creates a ringing sound.

Voice-"you have gained the elemental skill: sound, and have reached level 2 with one more skill point"

Julius-"put that skill point towards mana, that level up gave me a higher stat increase than the previous level ups"

Voice-"yes you level up at the same rate as everybody else so now you also gain the same stat increases too"

Julius-"well it's time to head back to the guild office"

Julius uses his gravel golem to walk back to the guild office to become an adventurer.

Julius-"hello there my name is Julius and I would like to become an adventurer"

Guild receptionist-"what is your level?"

Julius-"oh um I'm level 2"

Guild receptionist-"sorry our level requirement is level 10"

Julius-"seriously, alright I'll just go to a different guild then"

Guild receptionist-"the guild is a continent wide establishment and the entry level is the same everywhere"

Julius-"ok so if I go level up to 10 and come back will I be able to join"

Guild receptionist-"yes then you would meet the requirement"

Julius-"alright well I'll see you again soon"

Guild receptionist-"have a good rest of your day"

Julius walks out of the guild office. He undoes the gravel golem and flies off.

Julius-"I need to reach level 10 in order to join the guild after all of that time seriously, alright well back to killing bugs again"

Julius flies over to the forest and finds an ant monster from a different colony"

Julius-"lightning skill: thunderbolt"

A wave of lightning hits the ant and kills it but Julius doesn't level up.

Voice-"the amount of experience required to level up is much higher now than it was before"

Julius-"darn it I will have to go kill some higher level monsters now, voice tell me where some higher level monsters are"

Voice-"there are no higher level monsters nearby, other adventurers are already killing the ones closet to you"

Julius-"why does this have to be so difficult, I would have to go find and kill higher level monsters but that would take forever, didn't you say training would allow me to level up"

Voice-"training makes your skills level up but not your personal level"

Julius-"I think I have an idea I just need to make these insects stronger and they will give more experience"

Julius finds a termite monster foraging behind a tree.

Julius-"I'm going to alter it's DNA special skill: molecular reconstruction"

The termite grows larger and stronger but it deteriorates and dies because it couldn't sustain itself.

Voice-"you have gained the special skill: genetic manipulation along with special skill: grow and rose to level 4"

Julius-"it's good that I leveled up but the termite died so I need to fix something, if I just use the skill: grow will the insects give more experience?"

Voice-"using grow on an creature will make it stronger but it won't grant more experience once killed"

Julius-"ok so I need to find a way to make the insects survive when I increase their size, perhaps if I sustain them with water and nutrients they will survive the change, first I need to create plant nutrients by making a plant skill, special skill: molecular reconstruction"

Using the molecular reconstruction skill Julius created a bunch of plant cells.

Voice-"you have gained elemental skill: nature, and leveled up to level 5"

Julius-"alright time to try again"

Julius goes and finds another insect monster this time it was another termite.

Julius-"let's try this again special skill: genetic manipulation plus elemental skill: nature and elemental skill: water"

The beetle grew and evolved into an alpha termite raising from level 1 to level 5.

Julius-"now lightning skill: thunderbolt triple blast"

Julius shot 3 thunderbolts at the alpha termite and it died.

Voice-"you have now gained some experience points and reached level 6"

Julius-"at this pace I'll make it to level 10 in no time, what are some other new skills I can make"

Voice-"you can attempt to create the other elemental skills as a start"

Julius-"what are they"

Voice-"you already have earth, lightning, water, air, acid, poison, light, nature, ice, and light"

Julius-"well what else do I have to get"

Voice-"you could unlock the elemental skills of fire, shadow, metal, and magnetism"

Julius-"alright seems simple enough first I'll just make some iron ore using the skill molecular reconstruction"

Julius creates some molecules of iron making them into a chunk of raw iron.

Julius-"now for a magnet, I'll make some copper with molecular reconstruction and turn it into a long wire, then I'll wrap it around a pole of iron and then charge it with my lightning skill"

Julius did as he described and made a magnet that pulled in the iron he made a second ago.

Julius-"fire should also be simple, create a mix of oxygen and hydrogen then heat it up with some lightning"

Julius does this and it creates a blast of fire

Julius-"hmmm what do I do for shadow then, I guess it's the absence of light so I guess I prevent some photons from hitting an object"

Julius grabs a rock and using his light skill he prevents the photons from hitting and bouncing off of the rock causing it to become a 100% dark void like object.

Voice-"you have unlocked the elemental skills of fire, shadow, metal, and magnetism. You have rose to level 10"

Julius-"awesome go ahead and put those skill points into mana and it's time to head back to the guild office, I'm gonna become an adventurer!"
