A tricky opponent

Captor-"This is turning out to be more difficult than I was hoping it would be"

Julius(in his head)-"In his story Damion talked about how he healed himself from those injuries I'm glad to see it works on poison too, hey voice?"

Voice-"Yes?"

Julius(in his head)-"You have any ideas on how to take this person down?"

Voice-"The main issue with defeating this individual is their ability to quickly teleport, this means that you need to use a fast enough skill to hit them before hand, I suggest using your light skill in the form of a laser"

Julius(in his head)-"Alright, here goes"

Julius-"Light skill: laser beam"

A beam of light is shot out at the captor getting a mere centimeter from their stomach area until they once again teleport away from it.

Captor-"Light magic too!?"

Captor(in their head)-"Whoever helped the curseborn escape is nobody ordinary, they seem to possess a lot of rare magic. Could there be multiple people?"

Julius-"How could they be fast enough to react to that?"

 Damion-"It seems you are pretty fast at dodging, well let's see if you can dodge all of these, dark skill: spacial unbinding"

Dark magic floods out of Damion creating ten magic circles to both sides of him. The magic circles reduce the space between the rocks making the stone pathways and the captor causing all of the stones to fly towards the captor at hypersonic speeds.

Captor-"Pitiful"

The captor teleports over and over dodging all of the stones that Damion is launching at them.

Julius(in his head)-"Not only can they dodge a light speed attack they can dodge in quick succession like that as well.  How is that possible!?"

Voice-"I believe I have figured out their ability"

Julius(in his head)-"Their teleportation?"

Voice-"I believe the ability is automatically activated"

Julius(in his head)-"Automatically activated?"

Voice-"It explains how they activate it so quickly and in rapid succession. It also explains how they don't need to say anything to activate the skill"

Julius looks at the battle in front of him and sees the captor continuing to teleport short distances back and forth to dodge the incoming stones from Damion.

Julius(in his head)-"What am I watching for?"

Voice-"If they were controlling where they were teleporting they would be teleporting behind Damion to avoid the attacks instead of small distances left to right"

Julius(in his head)-"But they have controlled where they teleported multiple time stops to be in a more advantageous position"

Voice-"It's possible they have two different teleports, one that is automatic, and one that is controlled"

Julius(in his head)-"That makes sense, do you know how to counter it?"

Voice-"I am looking through your current skills to find a method to successfully attack them.  I would suggest to continue fighting to learn more about their movements"

Julius(in his head)-"Alright"

The rocks stop flying towards the captor so the captor stops teleporting.

Damion-"Hmmm..."

Damion looks down seeing that he has torn up all of the stones from the walkway leaving a large patch of dirt.

Damion-"You're pretty good..."

The captor once again grabs their poison tipped dagger and prepares for battle.

Julius sneaks up behind the captor.

Julius-"gravity skill: gravity amplify x10!"

Julius amplified the gravity in a short area around the captor, the captor once again teleported away.

Julius-"So attacking the area around them doesn't work either"

Captor(in their head)-"Whoever this is I still can't locate them. Plus, they even have gravity magic. I have never fought anyone with this many magic attributes before"

Captor-"Whoever you are you are quite skilled. You are making a mistake trying to help this curseborn. You are wasting your talents"

Voice-"They are likely just trying to get you to talk again to try to locate you"

Julius(in his head)-"I'm aware"

 Captor(in their head)-"It seems they aren't talking"

Damion(in his head)-"What do I do next, I'll try this!"

Damion-"Dark skill: light unbinding"

Damion suddenly vanishes.

Julius(in his head)-"An invisibility skill?"

Voice-"No, it seems they removed the light from himself. Similar to what you did to achieve shadow magic. 

Julius-"Damion wait!"

Damion reveals himself again.

Damion-"What is it?"

Julius-"I don't think invisibility will work, I believe the teleportation is an automatic response to an attack"

Captor(in their head)-"How did they figure it out?"

Damion-"What do you suppose we do then?"

Julius-"I'm thinking!"

The captor teleports to Damion to attempt to slash him with their poison knife but Damion jumps out of the way.

Captor(in their head)-"His accomplice is very smart and has a lot of magic, however I should focus on the curseborn first and then find a way to deal with his accomplice"

Julius(in his head)-"What do I do!?"

Voice-"I believe I have formulated some plans now"

Julius(in his dead)-"How many plans?"

Voice-"The first plan is to limit where they can teleport"

Julius(in his head)-"How would I do that"

Voice-"You can use your wind skill to turn the area around them into a vacuum which they wouldn't be able to stay in limiting the area they can safely teleport to"

Julius(in his head)-"How big of an area would that need to be"

Voice-"I assume not a very large area since all of their teleports have been close range thus far"

Julius(in his head)-"But what if Damion gets affected?"

Voice-"You will have to warn him"

Julius flies close to Damion.

Julius(whispering)-"Hey Damion"

Damion-"Hmm?"

The captors ear twitches in response to the whispering.

Julius(whispering)-"I have a plan, don't get too close to the captor"

Captor(in their head)-"A plan huh?"

Julius(in his head)-"Let's try it"

Julius flies up into the air.

Julius-"Wind skill: vacuum chamber"

The air in the 10 meter wide area around the captor is removed leaving only a small oval surrounding the captor that still contains air.

Captor(in their head)-"Something happened, but my teleportation wasn't activated"

Julius-"Light skill: consecutive light beams"

Julius shoots out several beams of light, the captor teleports out of the way but is confined to the small area.

Captor-"(shocked) Why are my movements so limited?"

Damion-"Whatever you did it worked"

Julius-"I wouldn't use your long range attacks. It could mess up the spell"

Damion-"Understood"

Julius continues firing light beams. The light beams eventually start to graze the captor.

Captor(in their head)-"For some reason the automatic teleport skill views the surrounding area as unsafe for teleporting, I need to teleport further.

The captor waits and continues narrowly dodging the light beams until eventually a split second opening allows them to perform a manual teleport to exit outside of the vacuum.

Julius-"So close!"

Julius(in his head)-"I should try again"

Voice-"That plan uses up a lot of mana maintaining a vacuum and firing multiple light beams"

Julius(in his head)-"Alright well what was your other plan"

Voice-"It seems the teleportation protects them from incoming attacks"

Julius(in his head)-"Yes I'm aware"

Voice-"But it may not protect against attacks from the inside"

Julius(in his head)-"The inside?"

Voice-"Yes, perhaps if you enter through the nose and attack the brain, similar to what you did a long time ago against those ants, you could bypass the teleportation" 

Julius(in his head)-"Didn't you say at one point that it's risky to be breathed in by somebody because I could die by getting transformed into carbon dioxide?"

Voice-"Yes"

Julius(in his head)-"Why don't I just phase through their head like I did for the ants?"

Voice-"The teleportation may view that as an attack"

Julius(in his head)-"I wouldn't think that you would give me such a risky plan"

Voice-"You asked me to give you a plan to win and this is the only other plan I could think of"

Julius(in his head)-"Do you think this plan is a good idea"

Voice-"I don't advise it"

Julius(in his head)-"Welp here goes nothing"
