Reincarnated as the oppressed sacrifice

Chapter 3:



On the day of the crimson moon, some are sad for their friends , and others are happy that they are not among the chosen ones, while valiard in the palace is unaware of what is going on around him. And here he is , surprised by receiving an invitation from the queen to have a meal with her.



The Queen's servant smiled an evil smile and said: "The Queen has completed the preparations، All what remains is Your Majesty's presence."

Valiard body shuddered when he saw it ، and He had a feeling that this would not end well، but he was glad that Princess Anna was coming too, so at least he wouldn't have to eat. Alone with the queen.

Beat the drum, the bells are ringing.

The bell has rung.



Valiard sat at the table with the queen in front of him, but he was surprised that Anna didn't attend the banquet , but he forgot about it because he was astonished by the presence of the most delicious food and drinks on the table.



Then, in a polite tone, he said to the Queen.

"Thank you, Your Majesty, for inviting me to this banquet, but where is the princess anna?"

The Queen answered his question in a cold tone:

"Ah, she couldn't come, because she is preparing the gift that I promised to give you on the night of the crimson moon". Valiard replied with a smile: "Thank you, Your Majesty, for your generosity."



Valiard started tasting the food, marveling at how delicious it was.

But as soon as he finished eating, his consciousness began to fade, and the world became a blur in his view, while the queen sitting in front of him smiling , not interested in what was happening to him.



Valiard regains consciousness and finds himself in another place, locked in a cage and many people around him being held by some mercenaries and masked soldiers.



The people around Valiard seemed to be frozen in shock, accepting the current situation, while Valeard tried to call for help, Unaware of what happened to him

"You bastards, get me out of this cage,"

valiard was ignored by the people who locked him up.

And Here it is, the sun is about to set and the moon is on about to appear.



The soldiers started taking the detainees out one by one Then he heard one of the mercenaries shouting:

"Start the ritual now."

It seemed to Valiard as if all the people held with him knew the nature of this ritual, so he asked  the person next to him .

Silence prevailed . The man next to him didn't answer him. Valiard thought that he would not receive an answer .

Then an old man beside him answered him although his face was ashen as if he was about to lose consciousness



"Don't you really know?" " yes i don't"

"Heh, you seem completely ignorant ."

From this old man,Valiard knew how brutal the kingdom is.



Every 10 years, at the appearance of the crimson moon, more than hundred human beings are offered as sacrifice and those sacrifices include slaves, commoners, those sentenced to death, and even fallen nobles, where all these people are thrown into the cave of the underworld as prey and sacrifices to the demons of the underworld, as the kingdom believes in a legend that in the absence of Offering sacrifices, the demons of the underworld will come out to wreak havoc on the earth, and as for the ritual that the soldier talked about before, the sacrifices should be stabbed with one stab in their stomachs, because the continuation of the bleeding will inform the demons of the arrival of the sacrifices.



The soldiers began stabbing the sacrifices one by one, and as soon as it was valiard turn, he noticed the approach of the Queen and Princess Anna. Trying to avoid the truth he realized, he continued desperately asking for their help



"Anna , here ,your brother is here please help me"

Anna slowly came towards him as Valeyard was being stabbed and with a cold face slapped him "Tsk, you filthy commoner, aren't you dead yet, You are just a concubine son ,how dare you call me sister?"

Valiard was shocked while Anna continued slapping him "oof,This does not diminish my anger ."

Then anna took out the knife and stabbed Valiard several times.
