The Tragedy
Ethan saw Helena standing on the balcony of the hotel which had a view of the mountain, winter was approaching and the cold weather was ignored by Helena who was still breathing in the cool and fresh air. Ethan frowned at seeing Helena only wearing shorts and a T -shirt without a jacket, he wrapped his jacket around Helena's body and kissed her cheek. Helena paused for a moment and turned to see Ethan smiling.
"You're so mysterious, I don't know why we should meet in secret, you're going to make me think you're someone's wife" Ethan laughed and rubbed Helena's cheek.
Helen touched Ethan's hand that held her cheek. She closed her eyes trying to feel the touch as if its the last time. Daryl had warned her for being in a relationship will changes a lot, its going to be her weakness, and she cant afford a weakness, not now.. not yet..

Helena's cell phone ticked to indicate that a message had arrived, she let go of Ethan's hug and walked into the hotel room where they were staying. Daryl sent a short message stating that tomorrow at 0400 hours they would leave for Mexico for a mission to obtain information about a cartel that the federal government could not touch, the cartel had solid secret support.
Helena packed her clothes to leave the hotel and drive to their meeting destination. Ethan sat on the living room sofa of the hotel's presidential room and still glancing at Helena, he tucked his hand into his pants pocket and held a small box containing a diamond -encrusted ring, his hand clutching the box neatly. Ethan's heart split as to whether to give the ring now or later.
Ethan's reverie stopped when Helena came out of the second bedroom wearing a complete winter outfit and a wheeled bag by her side, he looked into Helena's eyes that were already in contact lenses.
He took a breath and gave Helena a smile that hid his frustration. The least he can do is to trust her to deal with whatever issues she has before they have no restrictions to meet.
"I will be back soon, please take care of yourself my love" Helena's hand touched Ethan's cheek, apparently his handsome and smart face will never made Helena tired of looking at it. She kissed Ethan's cheek and pushed her wheeled bag out of the room.
Ethan was only able to stare at Helena's shadow disappearing behind the door. His heart was pounding to find out more about Helena, but he wanted to trust her to solve it on her own. However he needs to know more...
Helena dials Steve's number and instructed him to clear her tracks at the hotel, she took the key from her jacket pocket and press the elevator button into the parking lot to start her journey to the airport and meeting Daryl at the agreed place.
The Bmw driven by Helena broke the silence of the night, a song that echoed on the radio as if also sadden about the situation she was going through. At the same time Ethan was also slowly trailing Helena's car from behind and listening to the same song, he didn't know why he suddenly felt like learning more about Helena herself. He's willing to risk it, by chasing Her and handing her the ring in his pocket.
Perhaps deep down he felt that today will be the last day they will ever meet again.
