The Wolves' Reign Ends

As the party ventured into the second floor, the darkness enveloped them like a heavy cloak. 

The walls seemed to close in, the cold stone of the dungeon floor sending shivers up their spines. 

Despite its familiarity, the similarities to the first floor did little to ease their nerves; they knew better than to trust the stillness of the shadows.

Their heightened senses were proven wise when, without warning, loud, heavy footsteps echoed down the hall. 

The Guildmaster's voice cut through the silence with a single, urgent command: "Iron Wall Formation!"

The adventurers instantly fell into the defensive formation, weapons at the ready, waiting for whatever foe might emerge from the darkness.

The adventurers of lower rank were indeed at the forefront of the formation just like the previous time, swords and shields held at the ready, their training and discipline tested by the horde of undead beasts that descended upon them.
