Valkyrie Chronicles Chapter 1 - Truck-Kun and the Reincarnation

I am Shreyansh and I am an orphan and I lived in an orphanage till high school and after that, I have to move out of the orphanage as per orphanage rules.

After moving out I started to work at a restaurant part-time to cover my living expenses while still continuing my study with the aim to crack the IIT examination.

After an entire year, I finally cracked the IIT examination with a whopping all-India rank of 350. After this I got admitted into IIT Mumbai and my life which seemed to be full of pain is now starting to feel pleasurable by the thought that I have finally achieved my dream.

But after I started going to college I came back to cruel reality as I was constantly bullied because of the reason that I was an orphan and dirt poor and due to this nobody even befriended me.

But even after this I focused solely on my studies much more than anyone else because I wanted to support the orphanage both financially and knowledgly. I also started to do freelancing to earn money to donate to the orphanage I was born into.

But due to my college experience I became a loner and after this I became addicted to anime and games as it let me experience myself as a powerful character in another world. I especially became addicted to Valkyrie Chronicles as it was my very first anime and the very first game I played.

And even now I am on my way to buy the new Valkyrie Chronicle game which has just come out Today. But little did I know that my happiness and excitement will turn into something horrible like sadness and grief.

When I was almost at the store I saw two children one boy and another a girl crossing the crosswalk which lead directly to the game store but then I saw a truck coming closer to the place where the children were at a very fast rate.

After this my mind gets filled with despair and my body froze out of saddened thought of two children dying in front of me but then suddenly my body reacted on his own and before I can think anything I rushed towards where the children were and I pushed to the children out of the road but before I could get off the road myself the truck stricked me with full force.

And now here I am waiting for my death and I am now on the verge of dying and in my last moments all the memories of my life flashed before my eyes and I started to feel sad thinking about how my orphanage friends and teachers will react to my sudden death. And most of all I felt frustrated that I couldn't play or even take a look at the new Valkyrie Chronicle game which I have been waiting for many months.

But after some time I became calm as I recalled the saying that Death is Death and it doesn't give any person the time to make a choice. After sometime later my mind started to become blurry and I started to lose consciousness and darkness fall before my eyes.

After that a beam of light suddenly started to envelope my body and then I felt a weird sensation all over my body and my body starting to feel very heavy but my body doesn't hurt even a bit even though I was hit by a truck.
