Chapter 193 - Not Me

Shallot felt good about himself currently. Shallot had wanted to keep the guy around since he would have made a perfect punching bag, but he didn't want to worry about him escaping or something later.

Shallot also wasn't sure that the girls would be fine with him essentially keeping someone around just so that he could beat them.

Shallot turned because he could feel a familiar ki signature close to him and turned. He saw that it was Blake and she had a look on her face that she was excited about what she had just seen.

An attack that could level a facility to something like this that could be seen from across the city. She was going to learn whatever that was from Shallot. She may not be able to do any strenuous training like she would have done with Shallot's semblance.

"I want to learn that!" Blake said while looking thinking that it should be able to make it so that she wouldn't have to worry about Grimm anymore.

In the stratosphere, Bob had managed to push himself away from the ki wave. Bob was plummeting toward the ground. Since Bob not having an oxygen mask so high in the air was making it hard for him to breathe.

He was shooting toward the ground at terminal velocity after only 8 seconds. His consciousness was fading in and out before he completely blacked out. The last thought going through his head was wanting revenge.

Shallot and Blake had headed back to where the others were at. Shallot tried explaining how the Kamehameha Wave worked and that he could give another demonstration later.

When they got to the others they could see that there were a lot more Hunters and Huntresses helping out with the people that were either injured or trying to put out fires that were started.

The Hunters and Huntresses were helping the law enforcement and firefighters. Things were being worked on with Shallot seeing everything that was being done.

Shallot was looking around expecting to see the droids from Ironwood's army also helping but he didn't see any.

Shallot flew over with Blake to the group seeing Weiss and Ruby helping some people.

"Weiss helping people, that's shocking," Blake said while looking at Weiss giving a smile to a child and helping them.

Weiss turned hearing the voice seeing that it was Shallot and Blake.

"I help people!" Weiss said while continuing to help the people.

"Where is Ironwood and his robot legion?" Shallot said thinking about how Ironwood could be a robot if they didn't see that he had so many flaws.

Ruby turned to see them and smiled seeing Shallot.

"He had his robots go and round up the people in the red robes and detain them. He also has them keeping watch over the ones that were gathered so that they couldn't escape. He said that they will get some information about their group and where the leader is." Ruby said remembering the conversation she heard between him and her parents.

"Where did your parents go?" Blake asked not seeing them.

She would sense for their ki signature but wasn't familiar with it.

"They went with Ironwood as he said that things are completely done. He said that a large group of Grimm have almost made it to the city. He said that the despair and panic caused by the attack has drawn the Grimm to the city. He said that they will keep it busy until we can send Shallot." Ruby while rubbing her temples trying to remember everything.

"Alright, I got the gist of it." Shallot said while looking around. The city was in taters compared to before.

He wasn't sure if people died from this but he wouldn't be surprised if they did. There was far too much destruction for there to be no casualties. They probably won't know about it until people start filing missing person reports.

Shallot was looking around thinking about whether he should help the people here first or head to deal with the Grimm horde on the way. It would only take a couple of seconds to stop the Grimm but longer for the people.

The sirens in the city were still blaring loud showing that the city was still in a state of emergency.

All the Hunters and Huntresses scrolls were ringing now showing a request for aid for Vale.

"Well, that's really late." Shallot said looking at his scroll.

"Hi, master. I have finally dealt with the person that was stopping the communication. Their brain is completely fried though so you won't be able to get any answers out of them." A distorted voice came from Shallot's scroll.

"It took 4 hours Friday. What took so long?" Shallot asked since he was pretty proud about the A.I. he made but if they couldn't deal with a single hacker then he may need to make another A.I.

"His semblance allowed him to take control of any technology that they came into contact with. After I tried stopping him he was able to affect my code somewhat and I had to create subsections of myself so that he wouldn't gain control over me and access to the base.

I spent three hours trying not to be controlled while also making sure that known the information you have is tampered with or seen. I was only able to stop him by creating a subdivision of myself and used that part to try to take control of that person.

After connecting and making sure that they couldn't get rid of me I fragmented myself sending large amounts of random information to his brain. Forcing their brain to overload sending them into a stupor long enough to force a large enough of information into their head and shut their cognitive function down.

They are essentially a vegetable. Would you like their location in case their body has something useful." Friday's distorted voice explained from the scroll.

Ruby who heard the voice and the way Shallot's A.I. talked had a shiver run down her back. It was something unsettling about the way it talked. She had heard the way it spoke before and it sounded somewhat... off?

Shallot was thinking about it and then decided that he will help out the people first here and then head to deal with the Grimm.

"I will go and get the body after helping the people here. I will also deal with the Grimm after." Shallot said while thinking about doing some maintenance on Friday.

Her coding could be badly damaged after what she did.

Within the school on a computer was a digital space with Friday sitting in the middle of it. She was curled into a ball with a clear box around herself. She was watching what was going on outside seeing that Shallot was thinking that it was her after the lies he was told.

"Da Vinci!!! Da Vinci!!! Please, answer me!!! Anyone!!! Sister, please help me!!!" Friday was curled up and started crying to herself.

"That's not me!!! I'm here!!!" Friday said while crying.

A black box appeared in front of her on the outside of her box.
