Heros?

The students looked in the direction of the voice only to see an old man adorned in white robes with golden embroidery. The old man was also wearing a pope hat covered mostly with gold trims. Around him were multiple people wearing less flashy robes. The girl from before was standing opposite the old man as if to avoid him.

"WE THANK YOU FOR ANSWERING OUR CALL OF NEED YOUNG HEROS!" The old man's voice boomed. "I AM THE POPE IN THIS HERE KINGDOM!" The pope spoke with great confidence. "WE HAVE BEEN BLESSED BY RAJIK TO HAVE RECEIVED SO MANY YOUNG HEROS TO HELP US IN OUR TIME OF NEED!" The pope spoke to the worshipers.

The beautiful girl from before approached the students and spoke with a gentle voice. "Oh, great heroes we thank you for coming to our aid. We fear the demon lord will awaken soon and so we performed the hero summoning ritual passed down by our ancestors."

"YES, OUR ANCESTORS WERE BLESSED BY RAJIK TO HAVE BEEN ABLE TO GIVE US SUCH A RITUAL TO HELP US IN OUR TIME OF NEED!" The pope's voice thundered. The girl seemed upset that she had been interrupted by continued to speak. "I am the first princess of Atlantis. My name is Tamil. I wish to welcome you to our kingdom and thank you for answering our call."

Kanari was taken aback that this princess was so humble, despite being someone of great importance. "Come with me, great heroes. I shall lead you to see my father! And we will find out your powers!" "WAIT!" A voice thundered. Everyone looked towards where the voice came from just to see Benjamin. "WHAT DO YOU MEAN FIND OUT OUR POWERS!" "What do you mean great heroes? Everyone is born with power. Whether it be magical, physical, or skills. Everyone is born with them."

All the students were stunned. Tamil looked at the students with a puzzled expression. "What's wrong?" Tamil asked with confusion clear in her voice. Kiyoko was the first to respond. "In our world, we have no powers. There is no magic." A look of realization flashed through Tamil's eyes. "My apologies, I forgot. When you came to our world, you were granted powers suited for each of you!" Tamil exclaimed.

Joyful expressions appeared on the student's faces as they realized they had powers now. Hearing the existent Tamil led the students to the Throne room. The Pope followed behind the students. Tamil entered the Throne room and greeted her father. "Greetings Father I am proud to announce that the ritual was successful!" "GOOD!" The king's voice boomed. " I am the king of Atlantis. You can call me king Donovani. We will learn your powers the help you train stronger so you can help us protect this kingdom."

"WHAT'S IN IT FOR US?" A random student yelled. "IF YOU PROTECT THIS KINGDOM I CAN GRANT YOU FAME AND GLORY FOR AGES TO COME AND A WAY HOME! THOUGH I CAN'T GRANT YOU A WAY HOME LEGENDS SAY THAT ONCE THE DEMON KING IS DEFEATED A GREAT SPLIT WILL OPEN ALLOWING YOU TO RETURN!" "WHAT IF WE DON'T WANNA FIGHT!" Another student yelled. "IF NOTHING IS DONE THE DEMON KING WILL KILL US ALL, SO YOU DON'T HAVE TO FIGHT BUT AT LEAST HELP MY KINGDOM PROTECT THIS WORLD!" the king asked. Seeing some of the student's nod in agreement the king waved his hand to start the process of finding the student's powers.

Five of the worshiper from before walked up in front of the students pushing alters with a crystal ball on top. The pope walked up and spoke. "Divide into lines of five. And we will begin." The students split into five lines. Kanari and Kiyoko stood next to each other. Many students went until most got swordsman classes and mages. Few had crafter classes. Eventually, it was Kiyoko's turn.

When she read her hidden title, Kiyoko's face turned a slight shade of red. "[At least it's hidden. It would have been embarrassing if Kanari saw that.]" Kiyoko thought to herself.

"An elemental sage they blessed you." the worshiper said to Kiyoko. Kiyoko went to join the other students as Kanari walked up to view his status.
